The taste and texture of the pizzas are exactly like how they were in Italy. Worth the wait. Highly recommended. They sell Italian food stuff for you to create an Italian gastronomic experience at home too.

Great pizza's! So much lovely flavour and cooked well, the base itself was slightly thin so became soggy with wet ingredients, the crusts were spot on, over all delicious all the same (picture is of the Italia Pizza with no cheese)

Lovely shop with so many Italian products! The staff were lovely and it was nice to see so many products that I cannot find anywhere else. It will be great if card payment can be with no limit (£5) limit and some products are a bit expensive compared to other shops but other than this greatly recommend! Would love to try their pizzas next time!

Severely disappointing for a few reasons

1. Overcharged. When I called back to ask why, they claimed that they had given me a larger portion and therefore charged me more. I didn't ask for a larger portion and was never told it was going to be larger.

2. Had the steak pizzaiola which still had way too much fat on it. This is a relatively swift dish to make which means that the meat needs to be thoroughly pounded to be tender AND nearly all the fat needs to be trimmed because it does not cook long enough to render. My steak therefore had a rubbery ring which made it difficult to eat

3. Salad was made up partially of lettuce core.

4. My tiramisu was frozen. Please don't serve food that isn't ready to be consumed. If I order takeaway and then try and eat it 30 minutes later, when I get to dessert it should not be frozen solid.

Furthermore, tiramisu should never be frozen. It is a mortal sin to do so. When freezing tiramisu, the liquid inside the ladyfingers freeze and crystallize. Upon thawing you get a completely different texture. Tiramisu can stay chilled for a few days and some argue that day old tiramisu is much better. There should be no reason to freeze it unless you are making too much at once and never selling it.

The positives were that the pizzaiola sauce was really rich fragrant and delicious and the steak was tender, which made me wonder what could have been if only such simple mistakes were not made.

Good takeaway pizza, £8.30 for a Margherita.
Also, good selection of Italian products, especially olives, cheese, ham, taralli, spirits and cannoli

Fantastic deli and pizza shop! My only problems, which did annoy me a bit (enough to take off two stars!):

1. Every time I've bought the tiramisu it has been frozen (seems other reviewers had the same problem!). It took long enough to defrost that it couldn't be eaten with my pizza which was a shame!

2. The weight of the foil container is included in the cost of deli products. This means you pay premium deli prices for a cheap bit of foil, the value of which get worse the less you buy (due to a bigger proportion of the cost being just box)! Given the deli items are quite pricey, it is a bit of a rip off. Please remove the container weight from the food weight before charging! Thanks.

This is the BEST pizza in Oxford - hands down (and, as a pizza fanatic, I've tried all the pizza here)! They're super nice too - and you can call them direct to order delivery (and save lots on Deliveroo fees).

Great little Italian deli serving take-out pizza. 😋

Am a Vegan/ Veggie so had four items:
Peroni beer - very tasty. 🍺
Spinach and Cheese Aranchini - not Vegan but incredibly tasty and tasted wholesome like it has meat (though doesn't). 🧆
Vegitariana pizza - took 20 mins but really tasty and filling. 🍕
Baci chocolate (see wrapper in photo) - again not vegan but super delicious chocolate. They also have an espresso chocolate. 🍫

They also have wines, cold desserts, some unusual soft drinks, an olive servery, Olive oils, pastas, pasta sauces, Amaretti biscuits, and Beef Aranchini.

My one gripe is they have really bizarre opening hours. May be just lockdown but they seem closed a lot (e.g. not early Sunday afternoon but on Monday 🤨).
However worth the wait and they were a warm place to stay while waiting for our food.

Oh, and they could do with more vegan options for hot food.

Overall: definitely recommended.
