If you don't mind paying premium prices once in a while, the cheese burger I got was definitely beefy, and the Vanilla milkshake tasted pretty good too.

Ate at 5 guys for the 1st time and it was great. Got a cheeseburger, large fries and milkshake. They were all delicious and the mayo sauce is so great. Even if I added a lot of things to my burger and a lot of flavours to the milkshake it was excellent. The fries come more than you order. This location was rather quiet and clean. Food was quick to arrive. Only issue is with the toilet 1 out of 3 toilets were actually working and it was always busy.

Not busy but still had to wait over ten minutes for food, when it finally arrived my order was incorrect and had to wait a further 5 minutes for it to be resolved.
Burgers are dry and tasteless. Fries although a good portion aren't great. Mushrooms soggy and had to empty and bacon was burnt.
Very overpriced pretty bland food,

Five guys is better than MC Donald's and Burger king, but it's also twice the price!! I mean seriously, what do you expect.its £9.65 for a cheese burger without fries or a drink. My meal came to £21 with fries and a drink which is expensive for 1 person. At McDonald's it normally cost me £11, so five guys is double. The meat was ok, the fillings were all fresh and I love the idea you pick your own. The bun was ok and the fries were were nice, as was the salted caramel milk shake. I will go here for special occasions as the food was very nice, but not suitable for daily consumption unless you have deep pockets.. Good luck!

Quick and easy to order. Restaurant was empty so there was no atmosphere and the air conditioning was on so it was rather chilly whilst we waited for our food. Food was delicious and big portions.

Excellent Fries and a very meaty burger all cooked fresh. This is a first in this area ;-)

Service was great and, yes the prices are premium but it’s good.

As a Virgin to Five Guys as a chain, given the hear say about how trendy and different the experience would be, in truth, one was left disappointed with not much to sing about.

The menu system was quite confusing without set menu's and no true option for a kids menu on drinks or burgers.

The decor was wanting and tables were not cleaned immediately.

Seating was not comfortable with the wooden tables and chairs that could cause further pain for individuals with delicate back issues.

On the plus side, burgers were decent in taste but the winner goes to the rustic potato-style chips (fries) which were quite filling, however, very high on the salt content.

Incidentally, with a slogan that talks about getting more for $5 (posted with LeBronJames picture), clearly we have missed the trick in Britain as nothing (meal) was less that $5 let alone £5.

Overall, a disappointing experience. Would we visit Five Guys again..? Not likely. ☹

One of the better burger chain restaurants, their burgers are decent and their skins on fries are novel and tasty. The downside is that they are positioning themselves in the fast food BK, Macdonalds like market but pricing themselves into the fast-casual GBK, diner type sector at around £8-11 a burger which does not really suit their aesthetics. They also seriously lack vegetarian or vegan options.
Budget tip: ask for a free glass of water instead of buying a bottle
