Bannys Burger Bar

Ordered from here and TWO times my food came stone cold, soggy and had items missing. My first time ordering, the food came two hours late. I rang to see where my food was and the lady I spoke to on the phone was very rude and said there was nothing they could do to hurry it up and “it would be here when it was here”. It was missing two cheesecakes and a milkshake. I spoke to the owner who said they would give me a free meal as a good gesture. I received this order a few days later with MAGGOTS in my burger. LIVE MAGGOTS. I have never been so disgusted in my life. This order also had a drink and cookie missing. The cooked dinners are all made with frozen veg and I could clearly tell it was bistro gravy used. Even though they claim to be made “homemade and fresh”.

Definitely will not be ordering from here again. Portions are tiny, food stone cold and very overpriced for what it is. WORST TAKEAWAY IN NEWPORT.

Ordered off Just Eat at 20:17 delivery said delivery would he 21-21:20, called at 21:36 and they said food was out for delivery and would be with me soon. 22:00 rolled around still nothing, called 3 times and calls were ignored. Contacted Just eat who said order would be with me 22:20???? An hour late?? Cancelled the order and got a full refund. Then 22:30 the food arrives? Burger was rock hard I almost chipped a tooth biting in to it. Cheese fries were fine and edible but was given extra fried which were wet and soggy. THANK GOD I didn't end up paying for this! SO disappointed!

Sunday Lunch - Ordered all 3 meats, got 2 (one missing) Ordered Extra Yorkshire Pudding - Not Recieved. Ordered Extra Beef, Same amount of Beef as on other meal, but best of all - No Gravey or Mint Sauce.

Called to complain, told me they had "run out" and would refund me the difference - That has gone the same way as the gravy though i think!

Poor Customer Service & Average food (at best)

Worst place in Newport to order from.
Waited over an hour for stale cold desserts, couldn’t even get an order of two items right. Called them up to ask why we was given random food instead of the food we ordered and the women were rude and had a stinking attitude.
There’s far better places in Newport to order from no matter how desperate you are! I wouldn’t bother wasting your time and money!

Worst service. 45 minutes after the status was updated to my food being ready but waiting a driver I call to be told they couldnt, and never could, make my order. When I try and make a complaint, they hang up, thought the food was great previously, but never going there again after such horrible service.

First time this evening using Bannys. Let's just say I was not disappointed, best takeaway I have had in a very long time. Food was hot and very tasty and will definitely be ordering again soon!

Ordered meal tonight for the family....the lamb and mint burger was delicious, kids demolished the pizza only regret not ordering bigger size...
At first glance at menu I did think a bit over priced but soon changed my mind once I seen the burgers....

The cheesecakes well were gone within seconds...

Shambolic place to call a burger bar ordered for collection never did get to the food place was hard to find.

Wasnt able to get access as there was to many people outside drinking glad didnt pay for my order before hand.
