The Handy Squad Ltd

The Handy Squad are amazing. I had hired them a few times no and they have never let me down. Rather than hiring a stranger and being worried about who will turn up, I can trust the Handy Squad Team. I recently hired them to undertake half a day of odd jobs. The guy turned up on time, was polite, helpful, skilled and cleaned up after each job. They also do plumbing, electrics and more so make sure you book the Handy Squad for your jobs. Here are a few pictures of what they did for me - roller blinds hung in living room, bedside tables hung on walls, picture hung, curtain rail put up, etc.

We have used the Handy Squad twice and are very impressed with the service. Both members of the Handy Squad team we have been assigned were efficient, friendly and did an excellent job. The administration team are also always very helpful and responsive by email if you experience any issues. We would recommend them.

My girlfriend had an issue in her home and i contacted The Handy Squad to help with the problem and spoke to a very polite and understanding guy called Tyler who was fantastic and would like to thank him personally for his help. Ive used them a few times for basic handy work and all OK. Then tried their Plumber services. Having taken over £150 off me a guy turned up. He diagnosed my issue as the shower head (like I hadn't tried that first) then decided it was something to do with my boiler. He told me what I already knew about my toilet, namely it needed new part. After 20 minutes of doing nothing except making everything worse, he left. After email and calls, I've heard nothing from them. never again.

The Handy Squad stopped a major leak in my bathroom. Exceptional professional and excellently priced. A 5* by all standards.😀

First time using the Handy Squad and it was great service. Jonathan was very professional, efficient and friendly during the work. He got the job done in half an hour which was much sooner than the initial estimate. I will definitely use the Handy Squad again and will recommend to others

I've used The Handy Squad a few times for my tenants and have always been pleased but unfortunately this time we did not have a good experience. The plumber they sent was rude, used bad language, left a mess and bizarrely started to try and rework the plumbing of a blocked sink - something the replacement plumber I had to send in had sorted within 15 mins using a plumbing snake. He then told us that the exterior drain was blocked - it was not - so I'm awaiting a call out charge from the managing agent of my block. The other repair he did to the toilet has already failed and needs to be redone.

After receiving a big bill without actually getting any work completed successfully I raised this with The Handy Squad HQ and was met with an abrupt response and questioning the integrity of my (long time) tenants. So unfortunately I cannot recommend and won't be using for future repair needs in my rentals.

I emailed handy squad for a quote on a Sunday and by Monday afternoon they had booked someone to come and give a no obligation quote for the work - a simple shelf installation. By the end of the week the work had been completed at a lower cost than they quoted. They communicated clearly and quickly, arrived on time. It was hassle free and speedy. They communicated well and were reliable. I will definitely use them again for any works needed.
