Having recently moved into the area I am very fortunate to have come across Duncan. I needed a lot of help to make my new house into a home and the work that Duncan has done has helped me in achieving that. I am very grateful to him. He is very professional and the quality of his work is excellent. He is a great problem solver and finds an answer to problems that to me would seem impossible. I fully recommend him to others.

Be careful with this company. They try to claim money for the jobs they didn't complete! Duncan came to see the jobs, he attempted to fix the sofa however it failed after a few days. He explained that he needed to buy some materials to fix the faulty wardrobe and chest of drawers, and then he would give me a quote including the purchase of materials. He removed a runner from one of the drawers in order to deduce the measurements, he took it with him and never returned it. He did not call, he didn't send a quote or come back. He has made no contact with me for two and a half year. After two and a half years, he contacted me by phone, not to give a quote or to complete the jobs, but to ask for a payment for the "completed jobs"! He threatened to take me to court. So please be aware and see the photo of the state of the chest of drawers he claims he fixed.

I found Duncan online searching for a handy man. He fixed two curtains which needed refitting to the wall/door.
He communicated openly, had a friendly manner and tone of voice. Friendly but professional conversation. Worked fast and well.

First time using Duncan and we were not disappointed! Punctual, incredibly efficient and excellent at his job. He hung up some large mirrors and paintings for us and was so precise and careful in his work. He could not have been nicer and was also the tidiest workman I’ve ever met! Highly recommend.

Duncan provided an excellent service, re-hanging two external doors and repairing a broken window for us. He is friendly, hardworking and conscientious and made sure he cleared up properly after the job was done. Duncan put a new felt roof on our garden shed and fitted two outside lights. Duncan is friendly and professional, and the quality of his workmanship is extremely high. I cannot recommend him highly enough and I will certainly use him again.

Dancan is amazing he fitted a heavy blind rail & blind roller that had come off the wall during Xmas , very professional. I then bought a ring doorbell didn’t have a clue on how to fit it I called this gentleman and he kindly came over straight away to fit it. His excellent and always there when you need him very good advisor too . Don’t struggle just call Duncan .

I would definitely recommend this company. I needed my shower re-sealed, and Handyman Solutions have done a great job, to a very high standard. They are reasonably priced, very personable and prompt. I will be using them again for any more handy work that is needed at my home.
