I am astounded by the amazing service I received from Simon at Southern Hardware Supply. I live in Canada. The door hardware in North America is different than UK style hardware. I have custom-made doors with sentimental value but made with UK dimensions. I looked high and low in North America for the right hardware even online and couldn't find it. I only needed a couple tubular deadbolts with 1 3/4" backset, which are worth about 10 pounds but it would have cost me around $90 to get them in NA. Simon went way beyond expectations to help me get the parts and ensure I ordered the correct parts and even through in an extra incase one broke to save me the hassle of getting them again. I'm sure he made negligible profit but was so incredibly helpful anyway. I'm so impressed.

Recently needed a new door lock for my upvc conservatory. Southern Hardware Supply is my ‘Go To Company’ for all things security and hardware. As it was just before they closed on a Friday and it was a rush job, I was desperate. They suggested I send them photos via my phone so they could check the issue I was having and whether they could help me as to how to repair the lock or whether I needed a new lock. As it turned out, getting the old lock out with a broken key in in needed a specialist to come out. The staff gave me details of a couple of companies. I contacted them and one came out within an hour, replaced the lock within minutes, and supplied me with 5 new keys, all for £65. I couldn’t secure my house without a lockable conservatory door. Southern Hardware Supply really came through for me that day, as they have every time I’ve needed their help or advice. It was their suggestion that I send them photos of the door lock and they did not rush me in any way even although it was almost locking up time on a Friday. What a great company and the staff are fantastic. I highly recommend them to everyone.

Contacted Southern Hardware Supply who were extremely helpful in providing me with parts for a job. I will certainly be using them again in the future.

I have always used Southern hardware for all of my handles and hinges for the last 15 years, they are all very helpful and their prices are very reasonable.
Good Customer service is hard to come by these days but I have to say they are all very attentive, Simon even dropped the items I ordered to my home as he was in the area so that I could save on delivery, customer care is spot on. Can’t recommend enough.
