Wilko

I went to Wilko to buy a £10 photo frame. That was it but I ended buying almost £80 of shopping after 2 hours! This shop is unbelievable but my favourite Wilko's own brand bath soak was out of stock! Bought so much!

I pop into here quite regularly. It's great for getting household essentials at great affordable prices. The shop floors are fairly clean however they do need to replenish stock regularly, I often find things out of stock. The handful of staff are friendly but find queueing to pay is a pain, as not many tills are open. Overall, good shopping experience with decent special offers from time to time.

It was a good shop, with the store mainly having all I required, sadly I heard they were closing down thus leading to the lacking of some of the items I had desired to purchase. They have opened a store in Charlton by Bugsby's Way which is the same size or larger than the original with stocked shelves.

Nonetheless, the employee's were kind, patient and helpful with a range of products available for perusal.

They sell such a wide variety of goods that I always check them out in case they have what I need. I'm frequently disappointed 'cos they don't have the choice for a specific thing.

But now they have self-checkout. This is different to supermarkets: you get to handle the bar code reader like a gun. The power! It takes a bit of getting used to, but you get to jump the queue! Go for it!

Never find any gardening things. I've been looking for compost for over 1 month in that store. They only have huge ones for people with cars. In the winter they have everything but in the summer nothing. Makes no sense. And it's not because it's sold out they just don't have it. Also careful with displayed prices as they're sometimes higher when you check out

Is just a joke. I pulled down my mask from my nose for a second to smell fragrance tester from advert station and a member of the staff almost shouted at me rudely to put it back immediately.
What is the purpose of it, why they did put this kind of fragrance station outside if u don't want shopper's to try it +
Very funny that 90% of the staff was NOT WEARING MASK...why???
Second of all, i noticed that prices are not correct and is not for first time...little surprise at the cash desk.
Let me mention if every shop can provide sanitize, this shop why can't...? Poor management very unorganised everything.
I think had enough of this Wilko, if i need to choose rather to go for the farther one.

Wilko's is great for your every day needs - DIY, kitchenware, garden stuff, stationery, beauty, toys and such. Staff are helpful and polite. With social distancing measures in place you might need to queue to enter, and checking out takes a bit longer. The store is really big, with well-spaced shelves. There appears to be some stock shortages at the moment: many empty or only partially filled shelves.

Good selection of products. Unfortunately the lack of staff is very irritating. Queues for the tills are always ridiculous. You spend more time queuing than shopping. This needs to be addressed. It pits people off of their shopping experience.
