Great range of goods in Colwyn Store 1 item of coasters wasn't priced alas despite trying to contact other shops to establish a price sales assistant couldn't get a price. I suggested they put a value on it but the Manager refused hence they lost sale.
I have to say I was amazed at her reluctance to be proactive. I think there is a need for some retraining.
Conversely a young lady with an Irish accent was most helpful in finding a sellotape holder and also assisted my wife on other products.
I trust this will be received as s positive constructive comment.

Not the biggest fan of this shop. I don't like to leave bad reviews and tend to just leave it but this one needs doing. They do have an extensive range of things that aren't too over priced (in fact some things are very reasonable) but they are terrible if you need a refund even if the problem is they sold you an item you asked for and got home to realise it wasn't right (Happened to me with a coax cable).Staff are generally friendly and helpful but the shop is crammed and this can make it hard to find things.Ive been going there since I was a school when a friend worked there and she didn't have great things to say then either.Maybe thing will change one day but I doubt it.2 stars because of how difficult it is to get a refund if there's an issue.otherwise I'd give it 3

Great store. Seems to sell everything you need for the home. Much better than B & Q for a lot of things. I.e screws, hinges.
They sell household cleaners, pet supplies, paint, stain, dyes, car paint. Cake supplies ...... Upstairs is like an aladdins cave too. Not expensive.
I'm sure you wouldn't be disappointed. Women can browse whilst men look at the boring tools.

Seasonal decorations, cleaning, pet, gardening and outdoor supplies. Dining and cooking ware, painting supplies, wood and accompanying materials, barrels for vine and list goes on and on. If you going to come there without a shopping list you will end up with a lot of items for "just in case I'll need it".

Old fashioned hardware store cum Alladin's cave of everything you need from screws to paint, fire and stove parts, pots, pans, ladders and so much more I could be here all afternoon listing them. Always worth a visit.

I love coming here to buy 1 thing, end up spending £30 on stuff that I might need, and half an hour of my time. Great shop

If you can't find a specific item in Stermat........then it probably doesn't exist anymore, Aladdin dreamt of a cave as extensive as Stermat, brilliant, a sort of hardware chaos...... genius ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Fabulous shop, what they haven't got is not worth thinking about. Wish it was on my doorstep. Doing maintenance work for our son and was very impressed with the stock they carried. Much better than any B & Q.
