Excellent dealership with plenty of good stock, clothes accessories etc, very friendly

My friend has just bought a used Harley 883r which has a couple of running issues which we thought we could tackle ourselves but alas couldn't. There used to be a Harley dealership in Dorking (my hometown) that were friendly and helpful back in the day, so I suggested we go to Guilford Harley and be cheeky and ask for some advice. Asked at service counter and guy said he would fetch a mechanic, but it would take 10 mins as they were busy so suggested we have a wander around the shop. Mechanic duly came out, and I'm not being rude, but he was an older guy, and he knew that 883 inside out. Answered all our questions with a solution, couldn't have been more helpful and we felt guilty how long we kept him there considering we hadn't spent a penny with them, so it's a big thumbs up from Dave and myself. They get that customer service is an investment. My pals and I are all in our 50's now and selling up the sports bikes for cruisers, so they have earned a few more customers, cheers.

I’m struggling with how to express myself with this review, but here goes. And sorry for the loooooong review.
Having watched the show “Harley and the Davidson’s” and wanting to get back on a bike I decided it was time to get a Harley, I really bought into the original HD Ethos. I’d been to the shop regularly and chatted with the team, they even took me to the workshop to show me the guys working and doing their custom creations. Having procrastinated in buying a bike I duly did - however through a different organisation. I did decide that the team at Guildford HD were the only ones to touch my bike, and I really trust them. Having been worried about the bike I bought and wanting an iron-clad guarantee that the bike was in good condition, I popped over to GUILDFORD HD website started the “Generic Online Chat” which asked for my contact info and what was required. Clearly not generic and Within about a minute kate was on the phone, listening to me, what I wanted and asking for help. The assurances received from that initial conversation transferred right across the board. Late booked me in, sent an email confirmation and entire thing really couldn't have been simpler.
Bob arrived promptly at my house collected my bike and the entire process was so easy and seamless that was a little disturbing. The mechanics at HD called me twice to talk through the works, the managers called and chatted with me. There was literally nothing too difficult.
All in all what I take from the experience is this
1. The team really give a sh@t
2. The team love Harleys
3. These guys really, really know their bikes, products and solutions to everything I asked.
4. Harley Davidson is a premium brand and as such when you deal with these guys get to know what a premium brand actually is and why you pay for it. The disturbing comment earlier was because I've never really come across service and people like this before and it made me realise how average or below average most companies are.
The team are just average people who love their HOG’s and love their clients HOG’s, you're not going get much better to look after your investment!!

What a great showroom, on 2 levels; new and used motor cycles all indoors. That's not all, loads of Harley merchandise as well to paw over and buy... Accessories, clothing etc etc. Great friendly staff and lots of parking. Delicious selection of bikes too!
