Tossed Baker Street (Marylebone)

So the beauty of this place is you make your own salad. So far so good? The reason I will never visit here again is they are rip off merchants or thieves. I added two proteins and got none. Even when I went back to the counter and raised my query with the staff they simply poured the contents into a larger bowl, pushed around the salad and said just the proteins are there simply dismissing my query. This is poor restauranteur-ship, poor management, poor training for staff this is simply somewhere to avoid. There’s many options. Why pay a premium if what you want isn’t provided ?

I decided to try Tossed over my usual Pret and was left extremely disappointed. I like the tablet ordering system and high level of customisation but the end product is distinctly lacking. I ordered a Chipotle Chicken Salad which seemed to consist mostly of jalapenos and measly amounts of everything else. Also, the salad was extremely poorly tossed into the box, with bits hanging outside box and clusters of ingredients in different corners. Finally, to top it all off there was a rogue edamame bean and a hard piece of jalapeno stem in my meal.
Would not recommend.

Was there twice. First time liked it a lot… next time the food was not fresh… had suffered for 2 days…

I love Tossed but after the service I just received in your store on Baker Street I doubt I’ll ever come back. I ordered on a tablet and waited. The member of staff arrived and stared at me as if I was dirt or if I had done something wrong. I understand it’s fast food but I arrived excited for the food and have now left upset.

I didn’t eat, that is the start of a review that makes my blood boil usually! But I have to say something; as a visually impaired person going into a place where people have been replaced by tablets with no customer service, no one offering help, I simply couldn’t see to order. Yes I could’ve asked for help, but sometimes you really don’t want to, if the place was packed, I understand, but it wasn’t. Shame, I was really looking forward to a salad, but it was not to be. I used to really like this place, but I think our relationship is over.

Good healthy food and drinks...the best smoothie in town 😋 just need to update the ordering system...

Very good food and staff. We did struggle to use the Welcome code but later the store manager made up for it.
Above all the wrap and the smoothie were super tasty taking care of my all allergy free products.

They opened an new store few meters from the old one at Baker street.
Visited first time today and I was very disappointed with the fact that the prices are now inflated 15%+ in salads.

The build your own salad options now charges you individually for each ingredient, whereas before they had a flat price for up to 2 ingredients for each category.

1 week ago for a salad I was paying 8.20 now 9.70+. I don't get in what grounds they did such an increase.

So the rating comes from the low(er) value / money ratio
