Is my 100 year old aunt's policy fit for purpose? She had a fall and spent 5 days in hospital with acute fractured ribs. The hospital sent her home alone as she was medically fit? She was found the next morning on the toilet unable to get off so the family arranged for her to go to a nursing home for respite care while she fully recovers. Because she wasn't sent directly from the hospital to the nursing home CS Healthcare will not contribute to her convalescence. This is in accordance with the policy terms but she has been paying into the scheme for many years(probably over 50) currently £151.00 a month. So I ask again is this policy fit for purpose for a 100 year old. For those who may be concerned she making great progress at the nursing home.

A month on - I never did receive an answer to my question. All I received is another copy of the policy.

I wish I could offer less than one star! Following more than a decade of insurance premiums with this company, it's astonishing to see the change of support with a decaying business. The new Healix processes have made things more complicated, coupled with a lack of communication, it makes for a poor customer experience. To further contribute to the failings of CS Healthcare, their ill advised Chief Medical Officer, suggests neurological conditions cause osteoporosis. It's a shame the care in CS Healthcare is evidently not present any longer.

My experience with CS healthcare has been very positive. Charlotte was very knowledgeable and supportive throughout the process and was very patient with my incessant questions. CS Healthcare act and feel like a family business providing individual attention, whilst providing comprehensive levels of care and cover.

I have had to use CS Healthcare a couple of times over the last few years. I can only say that have been more than helpful and totally reassuring. There has never been a problem either with agreeing treatment or settling a claim.

I would definitely recommend them for both their service and value for money.

One of the worst healthcare insurers. They are supposed to be a mutual friendly society but stop any dissent if they possibly can eg. they get a lot of critical TrustPilot reviews deleted on the basis of "small-print" rules.
Always losing members, membership too low now to be a viable company, trying to widen their appeal to non-public servants for the first time to get themselves out of a mess ( so please beware of the new adverts aimed at wider population-----these adverts do not match up with the actual poor performance and arrogant management of CSHealthcare). Avoid this poor health insurer.
