Floatworks Angel

Fantastic little place - was my first time floating in a pod of salty water. They sent video and info to make the journey easy.
The staff were friendly and helpful.

Was lovely having a room to myself, shower and hop into the pod.
Would be back again! Managed to fully relax and release a lot of tensions. Some people I can image may take more to relax. Definitely not for claustrophobic people, but as a non-swimmer it was like lying in a big bath, that is warm and cosy and doesn’t get cold.

Interesting experience. First time so was a bit restless, but friends who went more than once say it gets better.

This was about my 10th float session but my first review.
I've been floating in the earlier place near Bank, and this one in Angel many times, and it's always a fantastic experience throughout.
It's a 30 min walk or 10 min taxi journey from Kings Cross St Pancras, and both during booking at upon arrival the staff are friendly, helpful and super chilled.
The ambience at the place is fantastic, there is no rush, everything is really well explained, and the float rooms and tank are very private, quiet and tranquil. After the float I usually have several drinks of water or one of the many herbal teas on offer, and sit in the relaxation room until I'm ready to leave.
I've brought many friends to floatworks and they have always left saying how amazing it is, and yesterday I brought my 16 year old daughter to celebrate her finishing her GCSEs, as I thought she deserved some serious chill time, and though she was a little nervous having never been before, she really enjoyed it, and can't wait to go again.

Had a great time, felt so refreshed and revitalised afterwards. I managed to relax for about 30 minutes which is good for me as I'm hyperactive, the rest was fun floating about. I came out with super soft skin and I felt like I had been on a detox. The building has a very relaxing vibe to it. I stayed afterwards reading my book in their zen room. I recommend it to couples.

I was gifted 2 floats for my birthday and enjoyed one float today - Sunday 30 October. I won't be shopping around for another establishment anytime soon - it's perfect here!! I felt like a little piece of heaven had been carved out just for me the moment I walked over the threshold. The staff are warm, friendly and professional. The venue is spotlessly clean with well-appointed rooms, shoe cubicles, clothes and valuables lockers, toilet and shower facilities and a lovely, relaxing 'nest' where you can enjoy some herbal lea after your float. Just lovely Thank you 💞🌱💞

My boyfriend got me a float for my birthday and I really didn’t know what to expect. I was always keen to give it a go but I find it difficult to switch my brain off and didn’t know what this would mean for me.

It was tranquil and it was so nice to feel weightless. I imagine doing this once a month would be amazing for your body and mind.
