Worcester Hearing Centre

Very informative and professional advice given and after care service excellent. Everyone very friendly and welcoming. Having had poor service from some of the larger chains I was pleased I chose Worcester Hearing Centre to solve my hearing issues.

My dad visited here not so long ago and he quotes:

Lovely friendly staff, fantastic service, Alex was professional and very understanding. My mum who is 80 has struggled to hear for many years even with 2 hearing aids (purchased elsewhere), making her feel very isolated. She came away from Worcester Hearing Centre actually being able to hear and with a smile on her face, something we haven't seen for a while. Thank you

Excellent staff very welcoming and helpful. Whilst on holiday had a blocked ear called the clinic who gave me an appointment within two days at short notice. The service I received was second to none from walking in the door to having the treatment and leaving.

First time I had been here and what a comforting environment. Staff genuinely friendly. Impeccable service from Alex who I presented a challenge with my stubborn ear wax but he persevered and successfully removed without any discomfort.

Sadly not a fan, hence my two star review. I was given a price of £80 to get my ears cleaned. When it was discovered I had a blood blister in one of my ears I was told it wasn’t possible to continue and I’d need to rebook for a week later. I was charge £40 for consultation which I didn’t want and would still be required to pay £80 a week later.
I’ve since had them checked by a retired nurse who came to the house, and refuted the advice from WHC. She cleaned my ears and has been back a second time for a follow up all for less than the original quote. Hearing now all good again.
Live and learn.

So, thank you first of all to the MD, Tom Dixon, for the call, concerned with my earlier post. After allowing me to explain my grievance, he was extremely helpful, listening and taking on board my experience.
He has explained that it should have been explained at the time that there would be the single charge of £40 for the consultation and that my return would be just £40 making a total of £80. He also went on to say this information is available on the website. Obviously I'd not seen the website to know this.
Mr Dixon has kindly refunded my earlier charges.
In short, I am more than happy with the way this has been resolved and in light of this would be happy to raise this to a 4 star review.

You can tell that this is a family owned business because they go the extra mile to ensure everything is perfect. When I had my new hearing aids fitted, Alex took me for a walk around town to see if all the volumes were right in the sort of environment that they would be used.
Any information that I required afterwards was very promptly dealt with via email within an hour.
I really cannot fault Worcester Hearing Centre at all, I have had a very positive experience with this business.

I am very impressed with Worcester Hearing Centre. From the minute you arrive you receive excellent friendly service from everyone. Your Audiologist gives you an in depth hearing test and upon the results discusses with you the most suitable hearing aid for you. Everything is well explained and nothing is too much trouble. Their after sales service exceeds expectations and if I could give them higher than 10 out of 10, I would happily do so.
