My husband Ken was admitted on Wednesday 28 September. He received first rate care and the team of doctors and nurses could not have been more caring or compassionate. Sadly we lost him 3 days later but it was a peaceful end and I thank them all so much. On the final day my daytime nurse's name escapes me, a lovely Welsh lass who put Luther Vandross on YouTube for us, thank you lovely, it was such a blur but you were a real comfort.
Our night nurse was Rita who supported me through the final hours, you lovely lady, you really helped me out until the end and saw me safely on my way home.

Thank you to the entire team at the Heart Institute, you are all angels.

I would not rate this private sector at all, when the DVLA sends them a medical form, one would expect them to make a appointment pronto, no not here it takes 2 receptionists to make 1 appointment and 3 months as when 1 is on holiday the other receptionist can not make a appointment for them, and don't expect a copy they clearly don't care about you, and then theres a nasty people
like Zena Clothier who will not help you at all no one will, you will lose money and go out of work good luck to ypu all

Went for a scan, everyone brilliant as you would expect. The only problem is getting there (Dec22). Went on foot as limited parking. You need to follow the access road on the left, sweeping downwards and not the pedestrians here sign on the wooden bridge opposite, which takes you to the building on the right. The entrance is behind the massive screened scaffolding. There is a small path on the left of the scaffolding. Lovely coffee shop just inside.

Second visit to BHI. Nursing staff are fantastic, nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. But please do give them the respect and kindness they deserve. The Doctors and Consultants are amazing too. Thanks to all concerned in my treatment and aftercare.

The feeling of being in safe hands whilst and after being blue lighted to The Bristol Heart Institute with severe chest pains at 03.40 on Saturday December 10th 2022. Gave me complete peace of mind.

The incredible care over the next 7 days from the consultants Surgeons doctors and nurses was absolutely incredible.

Surgery was undertaken via the artery in my thigh up to my heart where the procedure over 4 hours was a complete success.

I would like to thank the whole team
of dedicated care staff at Bristol Heart Institute ( N. H. S. ) for the incredible way in which I was kept informed of my situation at all times.

I do have relatives in the U.S.A.who informed me that this care and surgery in America would have cost me $140.000.00.
Cost to me. £ Nil.

Thank you NHS

Yours so gratefully

Was admitted into the BHI on 30/11/21 following a heart attack.
After a number of tests including an Angiogram I was required to have a heart by-pass graft, very scary!
I should have not been worried at all as the treatment I received throughout my stay was exemplary.
My thanks go to all concerned and particularly to the surgical team under professor Angelini, the nurses and doctors in wards C708,CITU and CHDU
for looking after me so well and giving me a second chance in life,I am truly grateful.
Food was very good as well!!

Had a cardiac ablation with some difficulties towards the end. The care, professionalism and treatment I received was phenomenal. A massive thanks to the nurses and ward doctors on C708 for the best care I received whilst admitted to you. All the best in the future, stay safe

Absolutely appalling, I had heart ablation on 31st Dec, discharged with SVT (which lasted 28 hrs) at 6pm and told to take my medication and call 111 if I had any problems. No-one was available for help or advice even when the ambulance crew called the hospital they were told to call the Doctor on 111 rather than bother the hospital. Post op care is none existent and extremely poor. Do not go there if you can avoid it!!!!
