It was company chosen by the landlord to do repairs in the flat that I'm renting, the two men that came were totally professional, and on time, done great job replacing extractor fan and fixing some tails in a shower area. Great contact and flexible to make appointment especially around Covid that I've caught in between appointments. Thank you guys!

Some engineers shows up to fix my boiler. Only for him to wrongly diagnose the problem and making me spend money on an electrician. Then the electrician says it’s nothing to do with the electric but to do with boiler.

I will not recommend using them.

The most horrendous service ever ! Rude and obnoxious the man basically laughed at me when boiler broke. Told me he ordered a part never gave time scale and boiler could have blown up ( he admitted that) with child In house, two weeks after Xmas no response,, then Called Halifax to complain they said he would contact tomorrow ( not make app) I got a text at 7 am saying he was coming that day ( I was at work) he called 3 times non stop and text saying I needed to call him told him I was in meetings all day, no response since I have a child in house and boiler making terrible Noises. Text and called him no answer. Then tonight heard a van outside didn’t think anything of it but my gate string and band were cut and think it was him probably tampered with Boiler because I complained

These were provided through the insurance company. The appointment was confirmed for contractor visit, I then received a call on the appointment day to let me know they couldn't make it and had to re-schedule for 5 days later. Don't bother.

These were provided by my insurance company. Absolutely terrible service, shouted at by the person I called to enquire how long the engineer was going to be only to be, told another 3 days as they arranged for the wrong engineer to attend. I would avoid using these personally.

Despite all the bad reviews we actually had a very good experience. Rang our insurers for home emergency cover as our electrics was tripping, no hot water and heating. He came out within 24hours. Identified the fault, isolated it, fixed the issue within 30mins. Top guy, very professional, face mask on, said he had 14 years experience and was confident he knew what it was and sorted it. Thanks a lot!

Having read other reviews, I can say that my experience with this company seems to be the norm. In Febuary 2020 they installed a new boiler for me. Recently it started to make whistling noises so becuase it was under guarentee I contacted the manufactures. One of their engineers came and established that the fault was not with the boiler but the gas supply from the metre to the boiler and that the low gas pressure was dangerous so he capped the boiler off. I phoned K&M Maintenance on a Thursday to explain the situation and was told they would get back to me. Nothing happened so rang the following day, they said something about sending out a plumber, said I thought it was a gas fitter that I needed. No one in the office so will get back to you. Rang again on Monday, this time a man came round and we discussed replacing the gas pipe from metre to boiler. He'll get back to me. Heared nothing so Wednesday phoned again, told them I'm 78 and partly disabled (true , not putting it on!) will get some one to phone you back. Thursday , 8th day without heating or hot water. I've given up and will get a proper company. to do the work. Stay well away from these cowboys!

We used K&M via our insurers for a leaking boiler. They came out within 48hrs and identified the fault. Another 48hrs and the required new part had arrived and was fitted. They could have been a bit quicker but for our particular issue the response time was adequate as we still had heating and limited hot water. For both visits, the engineer called before 09.30 and gave a 2hour window for their visit time which meant we didn't have to wait around for long periods. The engineers who attended seemed to know their business and ultimately solved the problem.
