Having not had an order confirmation email or follow up after nearly 2 days, I contacted the Tamworth store. To be fair, the customer service on the phone was much better, though they didn't explain why i hadn't been contacted. Apparently they sent an email the day before, telling me the delivery was the next day (as in the day on which I phoned them). I received no such email (and yes, i checked my trash and spam etc. They couldn't even give me an indication of when the delivery would be; only that it was the very last one of the day, because apparently, they had no way of reaching the driver.
Guess what? About 3 hours after the call to the Tamworth branch, a random O2 no. calls me to tell me he's at my house. Luckily I managed to get my brother there at short notice but it made me wonder why the communication was so poor when they had both my email address and my mobile phone number.
Frankly, I think I'll just pay the extra and either self collect, or go elsewhere.
On the day I had to call to find out where delivery was as it hadn’t arrived on time and was advised the van had broken down and would be delivered later when they had a new van. At 5.15 I have been advised the second vehicle has broken down and that they cannot deliver my items until Thursday (2 days after original delivery date)
I have a plumber starting work tomorrow, the “customer service advisor” advised they cannot give me a time for delivery on Thursday at this time.
When I advised I had a plumber booked she told me I shouldn’t have booked someone in as nothing is confirmed. When you have a call to advise it will be delivered on a certain day you do not expect it to be two days later than planned due to not one but two broken down vehicles.
Surely when letting a customer down you would ensure they were then a priority for the following day or at least be able to provide them with a time slot for two days later. Basically it was “tough”.
We recently ordered a brand-new ERP boiler/glowworm. Unfortunately the boiler was out of stock, the customer service lady searched through the warehouse and found one of the boilers we needed and got it sent out next day and was delivered before 12 pm on the Monday. Super friendly service and highly reliable, will definitely be using them again in the future and can’t recommend highly enough.
After-care service for future products when we called up on the phone, they were highly efficient and nothing was too much when searching for other products we needed.
The online process of ordering the boiler that we needed was extremely straightforward and simple and all recommended products we needed to go along with the boiler listed in the package below which made things super simple.
