Top class service yet again when I used O’Neill’s this month (January 2017). Communication was exceptionally good, payment made easy and work up to usual high standards. Price I paid was competitive and will be using again in future. Have recommended this company to friends and colleagues I work with and they too have spoken highly of the service provided and value for money when making comparisons like-for-like. Intrigued and confused therefore, by other reviews posted.

I have recently had my boiler repaired and serviced by Peter O'Neill and I cannot praise the company enough. I had a fault on the boiler and I contacted the company and within no time at all they had sent an engineer out to my property. I would like to say thank you, the Engineer was incredibly professional in the way he dealt with the problem. He introduced himself to me at the door and brought dust sheets which he put down before he started to work on the boiler. He was courteous and polite and carried out the work in a very professional manner. I have now decided to take out a contract with Peter O'Neill.

We needed to change our old Baxi back boiler for a modern combi boiler. From the first contact with PON Services, right through to installation and commission, we had nothing but courteous and professional service. Dennis did a comprehensive survey and explained exactly what the work entailed, and how long it would take, and gave us a very competitive quote.
The two engineers, Chris and Mark, turned up on time on the agreed date, and were extremely professional and efficient in everything they did. At the end of the two day installation, they left everything as they had found it, and were clean and tidy throughout. I cannot praise them, or the company, highly enough, and have no hesitation in recommending their services. A top class company and employees.

Basically ruined my late father's house by sheer incompetence. Admitted liability but refused to rectify the damage. In my opinion Peter O'Neil himself was rude, arrogant and totally condescending despite my father being a loyal customer for over 20 years. Read the other reviews which clearly demonstrate how shabby this company is. The fact they don't respond to such reviews demonstrates they simply don't care. Utterly shamefull

In response to the comment below... are you going to publicly deny that your engineer turned an immersion switch on (which he had no right to do) and left it on causing the boiler to overheat? is that your position? Is it also your position that your engineer did not leave an external window FULLY open for several days that was visible from the main road? Is that your position? Are you going to publicly deny that Mr O'Neils brother (who was exceptionally polite and courteous) did not admit the error? Are you going to deny that the engineer who came out said that the situation could have been catastrophic? Had Peter O'Neil rang and offered a sincere and heartfelt apology and helped us just a little with the costs, this would have been a simple matter. I totally understand that people make mistakes, we all do. The damage caused ruined watercolours my Mother had painted and my late father had kept lovingly for 17 years. Those are irreplaceable. My late father was a client of yours for around 40 years, paid his dues every month. All it would have taken would have been a sincere apology and a little help. We were mourning. Just a little kindness and thoughtfulness would have gone a long way

I used Peter O'Neill services for my boiler maintenance. From the opening conversation with the office staff to the engineer calling and completing the service everything was 1st class. I would recommend Peter O'Neill to my family and friends. Extremely competitive pricewise as well.

In reply to your response: If the component that you mentioned was not part of the agreement why on earth did your engineer turn it on? More to the point, why did he leave it on? Had that switch not been turned on, the damage would not have occurred.

Shocking service and we are absolutely devastated. An engineer visited my deceased father in law's house for a routine boiler check, turned on the immersion heater and opened a window. A neighbour noticed the open window the next day and when we went to close the window the immersion heater had been boiling like a pressure cooker for 2 days. Wallpaper was peeling, water was dripping down the walls, from the ceiling, soaked the bed, carpet and all bedding and the electric had tripped meaning that the freezer had defrosted. They accepted it was their fault but because the immersion heater is not covered in the plan, they are not liable - for anything. We have since been told that we were lucky and the effects could have been catastrophic.
