Went to see Seasick Steve at the Priory and what a fantastic show and evening the staff put on. Brilliant venue, great price, portaloos were clean and usable and the food was awesome.
Even in the rain the crowd was loving it definitely go again x

Went to an open air concert to see Seasick Steve was excellent. Shame about the rain. Still enjoyed the concert.

Enjoyed a gig with Seasick Steve. Sadly no shelter in the rain and had to queue for 45 minutes to get a drink as we weren't allowed to bring our own drinks into the venue.

I was really keen on visiting Llanthony Secunda after having previously seen the original Llanthony Priory in Monmouthshire. The history of the site is fascinating. However, it is rather strange that it backs on to a college and students pass through the ruins every day on their way to class. There are some additional buildings with information about site but I didn’t have time to stop by, unfortunately. The grounds are well maintained and there are some picturesque gardens and the docks themselves are worth a visit. I can’t say much about the ruins themselves, it is always fascinating to see something so ancient and there are plaques that explain the history. I personally think that I prefer the original however, due to it’s mystical tranquility and the relatively more substantial nature of its ruins.

Beautiful place to visit and enjoy historic surroundings with the family. Great restoration job over the last few years and plenty of information about the priory and monks who lived here. Lovely spot for a picnic by the canal.

A wonderful place for a short walk or as part of a longer stroll. Information points dotted around the grounds, point out fascinating facts throughout the centuries. A lovely place to sit for a moment and absorb the wonderful surroundings.

What a lovely place. Facilities of the highest quality. It was covered in snow (and dark) when I went but you could tell it was well looked after.
