Looks great on the prospectus however appalling in reality! Poor leadership team especially the head. Lack understanding of specific health and learning needs. Dis-compassionate staff who don't listen to parents or children. Would give a 0 rating if possible.

OFSED have been and as i thought the leadership of this school has caused the school to fall from a Good to Requires improvement . I feel sorry for the students who have been let down by the Headteacher and the Governors who appointed him. At the end of the day you reap what you sow. Lack of discipline and clear guidance has lead to this. As a parent this head teacher has ruined a very good school. Time the head went and the Chair of Governors stood down. After all this took place on your watch no one else as you tried to imply in the Blackpool gazette

If I could give no stars I would.
The amount of current students I have seen and spoke to that have been in tears because of bullying and not just by the students. It's a horrible environment to be in.
I'm a past student and the only good things I have to say about the place is the photography department which they have now dropped. I was bullied by multiple students and when I spoke to the apparent "careleaders" nothing was done because apparently I was the problem. I was also spoke to horribly by teachers the people they ask us to trust. I suffer with dyslexia, panic attacks, anxiety and depression. I was having a horrible day and couldn't understand any of the work set. I had my hand up for 30 minuets then got screamed at because I hadn't done the work, to which after the session I had then been told to stay back, the teacher shouted at me, called me multiple names and then when I retaliated and tried to leave got pushed back and locked in the room the entre lunch.
There is so much more and many problems with this school. Many of the students in the year about mine and my year have had many worse experiences. I would never ever recommend this school to anyone and if you want your child happy and in good hands. Never let them join this school. Me and many of the people I know from many years are happy to be far away from this place.

Once was an amazing high school and sixth form, now a prison and one of the worst schools on the county!
All the teachers abuse their power, have a lack of responsibility and care for their students!
The care leaders don't actually care and the friendly members of staff are nasty and discusting!

Would if possible give it ZERO.
School requires a shake up.New head for starters. exam results show school in decline.Next stage under special measures.

2018 GCSE's 3 topics in the maths ciriculum not even covered. How can students have any chance of passing.

Closing of 6 th form showing disatisfaction, lack of funding due to poor results and intake

Many parents very let down.

Awful school. So pleased my children have left. I would not recommend you send your children here. The teachers are awful, the school has been ruined by an incompetent headmaster. I sent my children here because it was as good school then they employed Mr Waller. There is no point in complaining to the Governors as they support him no matter what even if he is putting a child's health at risk.

Horrible school, never recommend I wouldn't want anyone to go here, School turned WW2 Death Factory. Safety is horrible, Earlier today I was in science in which students proceeded to burn personal belongings and paper. Me suffering from Athsma spent 90% of the lesson coughing, After repeatedly asking the teacher to stand outside( For my own safety)Most teachers are despicable and constantly abuse their power. I also get no help from teachers after reminding the school and even getting my doctor to inform the school of my mental disability(Autism) However even though this I have been shouted at multiple times by teachers about my lack of understanding. THAT I CANNOT HELP!! I swear down even Pear Tree has more support for both bullied and disabled students.Only kind teacher MR OLIVER. Despite my mental disability I am treated no different to others and have no support.
