Need to be more understanding to a child's circumstances. And accept them with a positive attitude. As children like to be praised.
Praising them makes them feel better in a school invironment and in general.
Showing a negative attitude will affect their confidence as a growing person.

The higher positioned staff are just disrespectful and unreliable, most of the students here are just arrogant chavs that need to be put down ( mainly most of the younger students ) some staff are friendly and helpful (so it gets 1 star ) but that's the only perk it has. Also, If any past students of this prison assume it's a lot worse now, you can't imagine how right you are; It's a lot worse than you can imagine. I know this because I went to this school and saw it's regression into hell...ALL IN 3 YEARS.

Ive had to leave this school because the bullying was so bad and the teachers did nothing . SLT are disrespectful and some of the teachers cant string a basic english sentence together . There are North Korean prison camps nicer than this school

Very poor ,myself and my child have had nothing but very deeply upseting incidents happen on 7 incidents including being physically searched infront of students ...,being locked in a room for wearing jean type trousers and the teacher had the keyfob around their neck for entry...being assaulted by another student to cause bleeding to the head then allowed to walk home without the parents having a clue not being informed just a few of the incidents ....and when trying to complain the deputy head mrs pierce is married to the head of year mr caffey so severe conflict of interests arise and never get resolved when you try and raise this issue you are met with the head mrs copeland you get disgusting abrupt mannerisms and told be a mother and remove your son if you are not happy because she thinks its fine for conflict of interest to arise when conducting investigations ...so bad i rang mash team for failing to safeguard my son next step ofstead ...avoid like the plague

Awful school. Went downhill fast when it became a mixed academy. Lost a lot of excellent teachers. Went from a school where my eldest son learnt well, where the boys were respectful to a place where bullying is rife but only a very small minority of staff actually care. The kids (mostly girls) are vile, rude, swearing, taking up the entire pavement while walking home so people going to the primary school opposite have to walk through this and get sworn at. The school do nothing about the complaints put in by various people.
They have an autism unit there but the SENCo is useless, they refused to even try accommodate my autistic sons needs with Miss Pearce saying "well he won't be welcome at this school". Needless to say I withdrew his application immediately and found him another school.

This school is really bad because some kid called louis (y11) is so special he is taking over the school and this also includes the ARC which is a really nice place to go
