This school is truly the epitome of terrible not only do they have fights on frequent occasions but they can not handle there students very well not only that they have a "Low turnout in grades during 2011-2013, It has recently had a decline in results and the level of achievement has also suffered in the recent years." according to the Wikipedia page. Albeit it is considered and I quote the "Top 5% of similar schools in England." This is a somewhat self contradictory message they are conveying, stating they are good but then their result have been on "decline since 2011-2013". Fool me once with the first statement shame on me fool me with the next statement shame on you . They are not a good school as they make them self out to be I find it very disappointing that the school trying to renounce themselves as something great as over achieving when in reality they are nothing more than a below average school with bad results since 2011 to now. I can only hope that no one goes to this overrated school it may have good facilities and a large site but it does not make it a good school for even a poor school can overcome the best of schools for it's the students that make up the foundation of a school but it's the teacher's job to build it up. If the foundation can not be set its the students fault but if it can't be built up its the teachers own failure at fault.

The school has gone through a lot of change in recent years and is doing well. GCSE results are getting better. A place where the staff are dedicated to good teaching and helping the girls reach their full potential. A good place to learn. Lovely learning environment.

The school has a turn a new leaf since the change of leadership. They are working very close with parents and students to make sure that the
partnership is working well.

My daughter is thriving there and making good progress. Staff work hard to ensure the girls do their best.

My daughter attends this school, and I think that it has improved over the years. St Martin’s is a friendly community, which accommodates and welcomes all diversities. As a father, I can truly say that I am proud of the progress my daughter has made through the school.

The teachers stretch and encourage everyone to do their absolute best, all staff members are very approachable including the senior leaders in the school. This creates an environment which makes it easy for students, teachers and parents to work together. St Martin's is a true community that molds girls into young women who are assets to their families and the wider community. My daughter is very happy to a part of St Martin's. Mademoiselle Bajer is one of the best teachers there, I personally believe that she cares about my daughter and pushes her to do her best.

Huda, in reply to your post, I think it would have been proper for you to tell the whole story of how year 11 ( which your daughter was among) how they pulled a prank on one of their teachers, simply they got to find out something about her,is that how students should repay their teachers?
Yes, they had to send them home as punishment as why disturb other students, simply because they've finished their exams?
So I think your comment is unfair.
The world is what it is now, simply because the young adults lack discipline & we parents don't seen to want to correct the wrong doings of our kids.

This school has come a long way & is improving daily, my daughter finished from the school & doing well in the Uni. So please always be sincere in all you do or say, as it can bounce back, someday.

I cannot speak highly enough of the school and in particular the leadership of the head and her team. There is vision and expectation for the girls education. The school has such a welcoming and loving atmosphere twined with good discipline and genuine values.

In response to your comments 'unnamed google user' I just wanted to point out that the school cannot take down any comments or reviews, they don't have power to do that. The only way a comment can be removed is if the person themselves remove it or Google deems it offensive. Rather than hiding your name why not use the correct complaints procedure so that your concerns can be addressed properly? Every school has it's challenges and St Martins isn't exempt from that, but it's turning around. Why not be part of the solution rather than part of the problem?
