This school is incredibly paranoid about people finding out about what goes in "inside" and that is what makes me dislike it.
If only they would listen to what students would like before making rash decisions and keeping the students in the dark about what is going on for example not letting them know if they are going to change something. They are trying to do this now but I'm afraid it is too late for my daughter.
I am very sorry if you think this school has outstanding teachers because unfortunately, it does not. The hard work that my daughter does is all down to her and there is very little support even though the teachers seem to go on about how they are, "always there for your children," this simply isn't true.
Yes, there may be some very good teachers as my daughter has said the English department is amazing, however I have been told the Music and Science departments are appalling and this is a disgrace.
All the amazing grades that students get at this school are from paid outside-of-school tutors and pushy parents who make their children work all the time instead of having a childhood. My daughter has even told me that some of her friends have to study all night just to learn something because of a teacher not fully explaining the section and moving on.
So I'm sorry Nonsuch, but you have failed my daughter.
If you are reading this, I hope you LEARN how to fix the school instead of trying to delete and hide this review from everyone. If you do sort out everything I have mentioned, I shall delete it.
Good day!

I go to Nonsuch High School for girls, I have been there from year 7 to sixth form. it was fun, the friends you make and the teachers but one thing that I really disliked was the amount of pressure being loaded on you, for every small thing you did, you would get detention and starting from year 7 they put us in GCSE mode. they made us petrified for the GCSEs. they made us have revision periods, they made us do the exams in the central hall and when we got a bad mark for a test the teachers would just talk on and on about how badly we did (in an indirect way). it really hurt inside and for a long time I thought of committing suicide because I cant take the pressure and its really not fair how much they put on you....please improve this for a better future in Nonsuch High. its a shame because I had so much fun there...

Being in the school you think it's rubbish. Buy compared to other schools this school is amazing. Teachers give extra support if needed and asked for which is very comforting for us!

I went to this school from 1995-2000. As a child of a first generation immigrant, I think my parents falsely believed that this school would be the making of me. Sadly this wasn't the case. I always felt quite marginalized at the school. I was a child that was crying out for help, but instead of support I always faced punishment. The teachers were more concerned about you wearing black shoes, than what was going on at home or why you were acting the way you were. In the 90's the staff were white middle class with no idea of how to handle mental health issues in their pupils. I doubt anything has changed. I have some good memories of some great friends, but the school was absolutely awful, staff were mediocre and the school was resting on its laurels most of the time.
