Global Academy

My son has been at global for nearly a year now. I don't normally write reviews but I feel so strongly about ensuring I write one about this amazing school. They have been so supportive and worked extremely hard with my son. David a teacher at the school is fantastic and a total inspiration to young men. The teachers treat the children as individuals and understand that all children's needs are not the same. Communication between the school and parents is great. I am always kept up to date. I was scared about making the decision to move my child in year 10 but this was the best decision I ever made. My son has matured and academically he has done so well and I'm proud of him. I will never be able to thank this school enough for what they have done for my family. If your thinking of moving your child here next year then please please go and look around because what you see on an open day is exactly what you get. The teaching staff understand children and treat them with respect teaching them life skills they will remember for life. Truely amazing people who clearly choose to teach because they wanted to make our children's future brighter. Really can't praise this school enough

Recently held an event in the main theatre at the Global Academy, The staff were extremely helpful, students were also involved in offering us tech support and the were brilliant.

The space was great. We started with a blank white canvas, added up lighters and a couple of spots, cabaret style tables, local food supplier/caterer.

Would highly recommend for conferences, awards or celebration events.

Promised a lot, last year (2017) was very disappointing. A lot of the media resources were not utilised and teachers were unprofessional.
2018 has definitely been an improvement and the school seems to be constantly improving.

As an ex student at Global Academy it really has been an honour to attend there. It's one of the best schools I've ever been in.

To be honest, I am not happy of this school. It just started and they have 1 or 2 classes per day Monday to Thursday to teach about business only. There is no Maths, History, Letterature,PE, or other classes. I would like for my son to quit it, but he is stubborn. I hear of bulling and people becoming crazy over there. I fear for my boy

Such a great college, my daughter is so happy here, she spends all day doing what she loves and she has met some lovely kids and teachers. Thank you Global

My daughter started here this September and I’m so glad I listened to her and enrolled her here. I was not sure about taking her out of her previous school as she was settled, but it was by far the best choice we made for our daughter who eats, sleeps and breathes media! Since moving to this school my daughter has grown in confidence so much and is the happiest I have ever seen her! The teachers love what they do and the head of year is very approachable my daughter says “she’s the mum of the school” and can’t thank the school enough for the opportunities and support provided so far. I can’t actually believe my daughter now loves maths and science and will not miss a day of school! Also, My daughter did not attend after school clubs at her previous school but seems to stay at global most days until at least 4 as there is always something exciting going on and she feels very comfortable here. Thank you so much 🙏
