Oasis Academy Silvertown

My child attends this school now for a few years. My child is doing really well in their subjects and exceeding the grades due to receive for gcse results. All staff are very friendly and helpful if any problems arise and dealt with promptly.

I am very happy that my child attends this school and also glad the ofsted has meant the standards that I always thought they had have now received.

I use to work at this school (I left to pursue other interests) but I still come in to teach guitar. I'm very much linked to the school because I believe in it as a place that provides excellent teaching and a high level of care for it's students.

It is true that the school is currently not on a permanent site and sadly some of the current students will not see the building, but the school has shown that a good education doesn't come from having an impressive building. What Oasis does have is hard working staff (believe me when I say that) and an environment where every student is genuinely known and included.

I have a daughter, and although it's years into the future, I would be proud if she attended Oasis Academy Silvertown.

My son has been a student of OAS since it opened back in 2014. Academically the school is absolutely second to none. If a child needs help with a certain subject there's always a teacher who will give help even in their free time.
If there is a problems like all schools , in my personal opinion the school always does it's best to sort it out as quick as possible, and are 99% of the sorted out the same day.
The teachers are excellent teachers, who always go out of their way to see who needs guidance and help.
As like alot of children, my son has a medical condition, and after talking to school explaining about thing my son has been helped and supported no end. Although at the minute the school is not in a great locale, everything is being done to keep our children safe.

I have nothing but praise for Oasis Academy Silvertown. The outstanding leadership has resulted in a first class team of staff who are always there to help the children and deliver the highest level of education and personal support. Behaviour is exemplary, as is the support of the form tutors and support staff and you won't find any of the usual bullying that is common place in most secondary schools; Matters are picked up on and dealt with almost before they have begun! If your child chooses to attend Oasis Academy you can be guaranteed that they can undertake their education in a safe, secure. supportive and extremely caring environment. Due to the small size of the school it has a personal touch and feel and the support staff, teachers and senor leadership team are able to get to know and understand all of the children enabling them to give the best educational and pastoral support possible to the student. Personally I cannot fault the school or educational experience my child has undertaken at Oasis Academy Silvertown and would just like to say a huge thank you to the entire team there for making my child's secondary school experience to date a very happy one :)

Since my daughter started oasis academy i can only praise the school for there constant dedication and commitment to supporting the children.
They encourage the children to grow with confidence and the teaching from the amazing staff is outstanding.

Teachers are unbelievably rude and when a student accidentally does something they exggerate the situation and always back the teachers up even if they were wrong (which is most of the time.) And teachers don't teach well all at all.

Oasis Academy Silvertown has helped me raise my children to be excellent human being and valuable members of the community. One of the inherent values of the Academy is discipline, students are encouraged to arrive on time, well presented and ready to learn. This makes them happy and confident, they know they can become anything they want in their careers. Thank you OAS for the great job they do every day.

Oasis Academy SilverTown has been a fantastic school for my son, they have consistently demonstrated a supportive environment, promoting learning and discipline in equal measures. Their commitment to my son to bring out the very best in him has been unfaltering, despite the numerous challenges he gave them over the years. The Head and Staff have been exemplary in their encouragement and keeping me as a Parent informed, we will forever be indebted to them. Thank you Oasis Academy SilverTown.
