Glebelands School

Going to this school was the worst 5 years of my life without a doubt! By the time I got to year 11 they had put me on counselling, anger management and more, all a result of the way I was treated here I would have never had any of that in a different school. For the whole of year 10 and 11 (exam years) I had substitute teachers for maths and science. I spent more time in the inclusion room and being excluded than I did learning! Only send your kids here if you HATE them! I left here with 2 c's in my exams.. seriously... Don't send your kids here.

Horrible. I went years ago though (left '94). I arrived midway through my secondary education from a wonderful progressive school in the midlands. The 2 and half years I spent at Glebelands aged 13 - 15 were awful and had a detrimental effect on my future there after.

Highly discriminatory system in this school. A child was put in isolation for having their hair too short and the parents where told that their child they cannot attend lessons until it grew back!!

What's next?? A child not being allowed in class because of their weight, height and or ethnicity??

Bare in mind that due to the diversity of ethnic groups in England, children's hair will grow at different paces depending on their groups.

This school's a mad ting. Longheads poppin' in and out of the inclusion room cos der hair too short. Get out of here with dat. How they hair gonna effect their learning bruv? The council would be doin' kids a favour if dey shut dis prison ting down innit. Plus ders like no pengtings ere. Teachers aint nice to look at either bruv. Hire some proper bangin teachers and then maybe de kids will engage yeh? Send yer kids here if you want em unding up in your basement for the rest of they life. god damn this school is bad. This is a great school not to big and not to small, it’s got lots of friendly teachers in it. Well done 👍🏼
