Worst school I have ever stepped foot in.

Better than castle school with sen needs BUT still lacking school is been used as a go between for children with sen needs and behaviour needs as there lacking in funded placements especially for girls in Taunton and the school has physical places but not ability to be placed due to lack of funding.

Teaching staff does not listen to either the children or parents. When issuing punishment it's not consistent. And trying to get a reply is virtually impossible

it's a decent school. by no means perfect. i felt like they managed pretty well during the pandemic. the teachers are great for the most part. the students on the other hand, they can be pretty wack sometimes, and i've seen exclusions on multiple occasions. i do feel like the school is trying their best, but there's only so much you can do as a state school. oh, and you can't use your phone during break/lunch. theres rampant graffiti in the bathrooms. it's disgusting, but you get used to it, and you cant really expect less.

as of recent, they implemented tighter restrictions on uniform, involving teachers having to check uniform for all those who enter, and sending those with incorrect uniform to parking. granted, they sent an email before half term, but it seems a little over. they also painted the walls half-black, so now walking across them feels like being in a prison or a facility.

ill be leaving the school this june, and while its not the best school out there, it certainly helped me grow both academically and personally
