A good school, knows how to cater for students' specific needs, if any. Education is well delivered.

This is a great school and I hope my son enjoys gaining his confidence and education in a safe and nurturing environment. Our experience has been fantastic and the support on offer is exceptional. Any problems have been dealt with without delay and in a caring manner. Very happy with this school. I'm expecting great opportunities for my son who is going into year 9 today xx

As a parent of a child who has attended this school all I can say is they are unhelpful, I had issues with my daughter who was unwell at asked the school for help no response.
I had Mr Brown Ringing me advising me if my daughter was late again I would be fined I advised as a parent once on the school bus that is my job as a parent done and advised they should have a teacher meet the bus if they go missing off the bus, also if My daughter did not attend school I would receive letters about her attendance but yet they can exclude children for a week and then school is obviously not that important. I found that all the school care about is their results and targets to Estyn. They say let's work together yet they can't return your calls maybe if they gave me the support my child needed at the time then things may have got dealt with earlier but to stop children from attending their shirt signing yet was not advised at all that she was unable to attend is my view of the teachers bullying the children back and maybe they should question why the children rebel. The school was in special measures due to their teaching maybe they need to be retrained as far as I'm concerned the school is a joke and I would not put my dog in there, so please as a parent think twice before choosing this school they do not help or respond to matters long as you do what they want they couldn't care about the children they just stats!!!!

This school is awful. If your thinking about sending your children here think again! The teachers have no respect what so ever. They have refused to teach us the majority of them and if I walk out that hall with no GCSEs I'll know where and who to blame. The new heads have made it an uncomfortable place to be. They don't solve problems they have made themselves. They have a code of conduct that they don't follow themselves. The depty head is the worst, a few of us have witnessed her physically pushing students out of her way she waves arms around in your face for no reason at all. They have even deleted most of people's own opinions because they don't want a bad name! They didn't let half of us to prom for pathetic worthless reasons so we had a better night anyway 🙂

My experience in ysgol clywedog was awful the teachers are a disgrace they have no respect for anyone, they never resolve the problems in the school. There was one teacher in particular who i never got on with not mentioning any names (mr mcdonald) he once told me he never liked, i would not send your children to this school because it is horrible.
