I had not been here in over 30 years but very happy to see that's it's actually been improved. Grandchildren loved the place and where excited to see the big fish and young ducks. They also enjoyed the play area but the large slide at the far end is a bit dangerous for young children as there are no steps

A fabulous strip of parkland along the New River through Canonbury. A lot of exotic vegetation and wildlife. Quite Japanese in style. The light and colours are spectacular here when the sun shines or a fog dwells around the trees.

Love this peaceful garden oasis in the middle of the busy city. Great for dog walks. Love seeing the turtles sunning themselves and the little baby ducks grow into adults by the end of the summer. Amazing variety of plants and trees. The history of this centuries old river is also very interesting- read the signs at the entrance. One of my favourite parts of Canonbury!

Amazing to have such a serene, green and relaxed areas in the heart of London. You'd think to be in a part of the country or Japanese garden.

Must be wonderful to live anywhere near 🌳🌳🌳

Casual walking place in Islington. Not really looked after the water is disgusting and smells.....but the walk itself is ok, it takes you all the way to angle Islington and doesn't take long at all.
Can be ABIT muddy at times even though there is a path.

Nice green area, but needs better maintenance. Lots of rubbish around sadly.
Still ok for a green walk in the middle of a city.
