Great place to walk, good place to walk the dog and cycle round, good way to get the the old Ashby line.

The walk is usually clean of dog mess, so watch where you step.

It is a nice place for a picnic with the family. There is loads of room for games.

The main walk is signposted with information about the walk and history.

The path has been recently upgraded to a tarmac path, which in my opinion loses the natural feel of the railway line. There are benches and lovers chairs located along the walk.

Put the boots on and enjoy the views and wildlife.

Good place for a walk, cycle or pick blackberries. I go there often since it's close to my house. It could do with the odd bench mind to sit here and there for less vigorous walkers to rest in between. That would be appreciated.

A pleasant leafy country walk within walking distance from Nuneaton. Its surface path ensures that it can be enjoyed by walkers and cyclists. It easily facilitates wheelchairs and invalid scooters. It is spoiled by the lack of litter bins and the deposition Of dog poo bags by a few selfish dog owners.

This is a brilliant place to walk to see all sort of wildlife and nature. It is lovely in all seasons but can get a bit muddy at times. Would recommend.

Lovely walks and scenery but often ruined by fly tipping or anti social behaviour.

Better for cycling than walking.

Very nice walk which is often spoiled by views from the path through Sandon Park with litter dropped by football players. Really poor supervision by adults with the kids!

You''ll see and hear all kinds of wildlife as you escape from civilisation on the Weddington Walk, despite never being far away from houses or the nearby roads, one of which splits it in two. The path follows the route of the former Ashby & Nuneaton joint railway line that once carried coal from Leicestershire. The secretive nature of the work done at MIRA means that you can only walk as far as the A5 now... but when you get that far, it's worth turning around and walking straight back the way you came. If that's not enough for you, look out for the path near the pond that takes you through the fields to Caldecote. This really is one of the best places to walk in Nuneaton.
