Very nice place for a short visit and possibly picnic. You can feed the ducks, they're jyst waiting for you to drop some food in the water. Most of the track is buggy / stroller friendly but there are couple bits I'd struggle pushing. This place makes a very nice walk in beautiful and quiet environment.
Highly recommend :)

Adderbury Lakes is a beautiful serene tranquil place to walk or just sit and enjoy the quiet sounds of nature. It belongs to the Village and is cared for by volunteers who have restored the paths and boundaries while managing the wonderful trees and shrubs. The Ice House has been fully restored and the wonderful volunteers have been clearing storm damaged trees and overgrown areas bringing light back everywhere. The Lakes have a waterfall between them with a bridge over it. The path is easy enough for able bodied people but a challenge for wheelchair users. It has a boundary with Lake House who sometimes have a herd of deer in their parkland. It's lovely to glimpse deer through the trees while enjoying the dappled sunlight on the lake and hear the birds singing. In early spring the carpets of Snow Drops take your breath away. It's beautiful.

We enjoyed a lovely quiet walk around the lake on Sunday morning whilst visiting the local area. This is a well looked after area which felt safe and calming. Would certainly visit again and happy to support with a small donation each visit
