Really impressive temple. Free to visit. Small bags allowed. Shoes have to be taken off inside. Unfortunately as of covid only a few parts are open to visit.

Such an amazing place. The craftsmanship on the wood and marble are outstanding. It is such a wonderful place of peace and harmony even if you are not Hindu. Go there and enjoy. The people are very welcoming too.

This has to be one of the most beautiful buildings in the whole of the United Kingdom. The atmosphere is tranquil complemented by an amazing volunteer work force. Everyone should visit at least once just to gain the understanding.

When you arrive the staff helps u with everything. It is not allowed to take photos inside but I can assure that it is worth to see. Everyone is quiet as asked and respects each other's personal space. You have to remove your shoes and leave your bags in a place they provide so come prepared. You are allowed to take photos outside, the view is beautiful and there is lots of flowers. When u go inside there are rooms that are used for praying purposes. In these rooms there are gorgeous carvings and really calming quiet music is playing at the background. The staff is willing to help you around with everything and you have an option to ask for a guided tour. There is no entrance fee and you dont have to pay anything for the lockers. There is donation boxes for people who wants to make a donation. Try to visit at the days of festivals I heard lots of recommendations about it.

Amazing hindu temple in London. The sculptures, wood work and architecture is amazing but the most important thing is spiritual aspect that caters to you. To experience all of these you must visit this place. There are toilets and a small souvenir shop.

This particular temple is very well known among the Indians and localities too. This temple has idols of many other deities. One can experience the peaceful and calm environment here. It is super clean and they do not allow visitors to carry any luggage or bags inside, there is a storage counter where one can keep their stuff for free until they are done with darshan. There is a parking area besides the temple and a restaurant is located naming Shayona.

Beautiful temple in person even more so than what we imagined. Interiors and exteriors are very well maintained, there's areas for men and women to store your shoes once you are inside. There was a very friendly man at the front explaining the temple's history to us. The architecture is extremely pretty, very peaceful calming atmosphere. Wish I'd lived closer to visit every week or every day, sadly it is on an end of London so commute by train is further outside of central London.

If you are an open minded person that want to learn about other culture and religions, this is the right place for you !
I had the pleasure to be jointed by a volunteer that explained me interesting topics about the Hinduism. The temple is made by tons of marbles and wood.
The meditation and the inner peace are the key words that I learned.
I felt very welcomed !
