Sri Navadhurgai Amman Temple Mitcham

Nice and welcoming local Hindu Temple in Mitcham near Gorringe Park with the main Deity as Nava Durgai Amman Temple popularly referrred in Tamil as Navathurgai Amman.

The Pujas are conducted according to traditional Hindu Saiva rituals. Other Deities in the Temple are Ganesh, Vel (Murugan), Rama Darba, Sri Venkatheswara along with Panchamuka Hanuman, Shiva Lingam, Navagrahas and Bhairavar.

On Festival Days special Pujas, Abishekams, Homas, Alangkarams and Prasadam are performed. These can also be sponsored by anyone for them or their Loved Ones on occasion such as Birthdays, any type of Anniversaries and honour of Remberance .

Tuesday and Friday weekly are generally revered for Durga Devi with regular Abishekams, Alankarams, Bhajans, Deepa Arati .
