Fantastic piece of history. Makes one wonder at the brilliance of the feats performed by the Romans in England and Scotland. Walking alongside the wall takes you back in history. The area is well maintained too. A must see for history buff and the common people too.

Fabulous attraction. To see the large sections of the wall and the ruins of the fort was breathtaking. From the original start over 2000 years ago to the 1800 final addition was fascinating. Beautiful scenery. Great staff that engaged with the visitors. Well worth the drive from anywhere.

What a beautiful place to visit. Located about 50 miles from Newcastle in the north east of England, this wall stands still with its rich 1900 years history that divided Romans and Brits. A place worth visiting when you are in the north east next time.

Great place. During the Roman Empire it was the border between Scotland and England. The wall is 73 miles long. Ideal for who likes walking in beautiful nature with piece of history.

We had the most amazing walk from Homesteads Fort to Turret 41a. We had a coffee and cake in the cafe before leaving and used the toilet and then set off. It was a lovely walk and you can choose two levels the wall which is more tricky or the lower route taken by the Roman soldiers we chose the wall route and the views were spectacular.

Amazing piece of history. Great to see it kept in such good condition.
Cost of exhibition was £16 per adult.
Dogs not allowed in exhibition but could visit cafe and walk around the outer area of wall.
Well worth a visit and the view's are amazing.

Loved Hadrian's wall. Very interesting and lots of information it's very child oriented with a spy trail. Lots of walks from the visitors center that has a cafe. £12.00 per adult entry and £4 parking is expensive. But you can see just as much from the perimeter. Walking the wall has some fantastic views.
