This place is massive! One of the most impressive Abbeys we've been to, and we've been to a lot. Nice peaceful location, so much to see, really interesting little museum. Definitely stop in

Fantastic abbey. Lovely setting and also great exhibits and gift shop. Lovely place to lose yourself for a couple of hours. Journey by train is beautiful too.

Furness Abbey is an amazing place to visit for all the family, staff very friendly and informative. The Abbey ruins are very well maintained and all areas are exceptionally clean.

5 stars even though it was raining quite heavily.

This is a magical place.

The lady at reception was fantastic providing a wonderful history of the place.

The museum in the visitor centre was so intetesting.

Despite the weather the visit was brilliant. It must be totally amazing in better weather

Beautiful remains of the Abbey with a lot left standing so you can get a real feel for what it would have been like. It's a large site too, biggest I've been to.
There's a little cafe open further along the road & a museum shop which houses some of the remains & has lots of info & lots of beautiful things to buy from English Heritage range. Will definitely come again in summer.

This is a beautiful historic venue, lots of interesting buildings to explore (what is left of it). Always makes me think who trod this ground over the centuries.

Gift shop is interesting with berry wines for sale and craft gins along with other items for all of the family.

Very impressive ruins with a good chance to walk around at your leisure and see first hand how this Abbey evolved
