Usually plenty of free parking. Lots of paths to follow over the common. Offa's dyke path crosses the common. Fantastic views over the Shropshire plain. Very popular with dog walkers. This time of the year I don't think the show of bluebells can be beaten.

Great place for a family walk not too long at about 1.5 miles. Has lots of dog walkers. Best time to visit is during the week as gets quite busy at weekend.

We enjoyed staying. The breakfast is very good (but cold). The place is an ongoing renovation project to a high standard.

Good open area for a walk/dog walking. Free parking in a good sized car park. There are dog bins dotted around the route. Either walk left or right out of the car park and follow the path, each will take you on a loop to the top of the racecourse and back. Be aware that you do need to cross a road in the middle and that the signage on the fingerposts aren't particularly helpful if you're not following the Offa's Duke route. There are benches around the route a d some good views from the top. There is a steady incline to the top of the racecourse. The ground isn't suitable for a mobility scooter as it is quite rough under foot in places and there is some thick grass.

Ideal spot for taking the dogs for a walk. Good car park and not too hilly.. The bluebells are wonderful in the spring

Stunning views, wonderful walks in woodlands and the fresh air is so beautiful and feathered friends sing as you walk along or are still enjoying it all.
