One of very few Bronze Age barrows still remaining in Greater London. This one is in the middle of a housing estate, and amazing it didn't get built on! There were apparently a whole cluster of them at the top of Shooters Hill originally.

Don't make a special journey! Basically a mound of grass behind an iron fence. Although further along Shrewsbury Road you can glimpse some of the best views of the London skyline. Shrewsbury Park just along the road is nice.

Great piece of history if you are in the area. Don't make a special trip here though as it's just a mound in the grass behind a locked fence with a board explaining what it is and it's history

Not every day you find a thousands of years old tomb in the middle of South London
