Its such a beautiful walk to this ancient monument. We walked up from Cocking car park and it may be quicker from Harting. Either way the views across the downs north and to the Isle of Wight south were fantastic. About a 3 hour round trip if you follow the south downs way. Plenty of other paths to follow and looking forward to a return visit when warmer.

Worth leaving the south downs way to visit devils jump as the are only couple hundred yards from the path. You feel near to history climbing over these.

Strange and beautiful.. Would have been more interesting if there had been a signboard explaining what you were looking at..

There is a large picture board explaining the history of these Devil Jumps next to the gate that leads into the field on the south side ( Hooksway side)

Amazing bronze age tomb line that is rather unvisited and very tranquil. Just off the South downs way
