Wedding attended at the venue. Beautiful house and grounds. Looks as though open to public. Has plenty of parking available.

What a beautiful place this is. I remember it from my early years as a shell and how wonderful it is to see it restored and hosting events like the Flower Show in May. 2022 theme is Alice in Wonderland. It was fabulous.

Visited the National Flower Show at Hylands. The event would have been perfect with an excellent range of plant and garden accessory stalls, if there hadn’t been rain constantly. That’s no one’s fault HOWEVER , being wet through we fancied a drink and a bite to eat but only one of the many food stands had covered seating and as a result probably did the most business. There were many tables in front of the variety of eating/drinking stands but given that the weather in Britain is so changeable, why hadn’t they adopted what markets like North Weald etc do- a simple gazebo type structure with seating underneath allowing visitors to eat and drink in all weathers without getting wet. Many people wanting refreshments opted for a drink only and took cover standing under trees but resisted the temptation of buying what would become wet soggy food. Poor effort in my opinion but other than that would highly recommend on a dry day.

Such a lovely venue. Had a very relaxing evening. Highly recommended.

I went to a beautiful wedding here, the scenery was amazing and well worth the drive. Perfect wedding venue 🥰😍 they gave us parking slips so we could park all day and I had a great time visiting this place.

Stunning venue with lots to offer whether you have the marquee or the main house. The house has lots of history and marble throughout it definitely has the wow factor. Not to mention the large grounds and the amazing staff that look after everything for you. Perfect wedding venue.

Easy parking, wide open space, lovely gardens, stunning house, great cafes, wildlife adventures, beautiful gardens, romantic history, and the most amazing children's playpark in the area. Go and enjoy!

... check for parking charges before you go as the Council are due to introduce modest parking fees in July 2021.

We attended a wedding at Hylands House a few weeks ago. While the wonderful weather certainly played a part, the grounds and house were absolutely stunning!

Staff were accommodating and lovely, and there was a great contrast of venue settings, from classic Edwardian rooms to the excellent marquee area for larger crowds of guests.

Would recommend as a wedding or events venue to those based in London or the South East of England.
