Only really a plaque to mark the spot, which is sad. The rest is a golf course. I hoped there may be the remainder of a fort mound.

Still, it is a nice walk on a clear day there from Wimbledon or Putney.

Wonderful place full of features and amazing views - if you like looking at rich people playing golf... Sadly this place goes on to show for whom the modern England caters and it isn't a general public. This impressive historical place has been over the centuries turned into a golf course for the rich and there is now no public access to the site at all. Quite a stark difference for example to the Stanton Drew stone circle that sits in the field where cattle graze and the entry is almost free (the £1 fee seems fairly symbolic).

This us on a private golf course with plaques next to a public footpath showing the location.
