What a lovely little museum. Packed with exciting exhibits and information. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. It’s like a hidden oasis. Some quaint little shops. A gorgeous cafe and backs onto beautiful gardens. It is a must see visit if you are in the town. Had a very enjoyable trip, some good food and coffee. Free admission

Small museum with plenty of history to see and read about. Beautiful gardens with a tea room serving sandwiches and cakes.
Museum has a gift shop plus they're area other craft shops on-site.

Always seems to get better each time. Beautiful gardens, lovely space for the kids to explore and the craft workmanship spaces that go on are very inspiring and a nice addition to the museum! We love a visit here every time we are in Bewdley! ❤️🌷🌸🌹🌺🌻🌼

Came upon this unusual little museum by chance and spent an absorbing hour here. The staff were both welcoming and knowledgeable. The galleries and craft workshops are imaginatively housed in a former butcher's shambles. Lots of info covering the region's social and natural history and its traditional industries and occupations, along with artefacts, models and fun interactive displays for kids and adults alike. Enjoyed sniffing the exotic spices in the labelled drawers and visiting the jail cell. There's a lovely little garden at the back of the museum with a World War II air raid shelter and other historic features. The little café serves light snacks and cakes and there are also some toilets. Worth a browse round the shop too, some beautiful jewellery and ornaments as well as the usual toys and souvenirs. A great little discovery, well worth a visit.

A very wet day but the museum is very welcoming and well presented. Had a few minutes for a nice cup of coffee before walking around more of the beautiful town.
