Great Barn Farm

Our family of four stayed at The Stables for a week in July. Beautiful barn conversion, luxury bathrooms and the most comfortable beds. Such a lovely welcome of homemade cake and flowers. The pool, steam room and spa pool were immaculate and a wonderful way to start the day - we felt like we'd had a luxury spa day before breakfast. We were lucky to have amazing weather so used the BBQ most evenings but also enjoyed a couple of excellent pub meals locally. Great location for exploring beautiful North Norfolk and we loved all the nearby villages. Clever layout so each barn has a very private garden but would work really well in a big friends/family group too. Wouldn't hesitate to go back if we were in this location again, excellent accommodation and facilities.

We were 28 and took the newly converted farmhouse (so spacious and beautifully converted) and the Cattle sheds where we have stayed before. All superb, comfortable, high quality and a beautiful mix of original features but with modern touches. Spotlessly clean. Lovely outdoor spaces and the pool is a real bonus especially with the youngsters! The location is also great - rural and quiet but near to a pub and supermarket if needed. 2nd time we have been. Highly recommended! Had a wonderful weekend with family and friends here for a celebration.

Fantastic long weekend away with 20 of us for my 40th Birthday celebrations. The properties and pool house exceeded expectations in every way. We will be back!

We had a fabulous week at Great Barn Farm. The accommodation was unique, spacious, spotlessly clean and we also had a wonderful outdoor space. The pool was also brilliant and we usually got 2 sessions per day. Beautiful place and we will certainly return.

A wonderful place to stay to get away and relax. The barn is very thoughtfully put together and well-looked after. Every detail has been taken care of. We loved the architecture of the place too.
The swimming pool is stunning and it was such a treat to have it to ourselves. I haven't felt so relaxed in ages!
There's also so much to do in the area - sandy beaches, gardens to visit, market towns - we feel we must return some time.

We adored everything about The Piggery at Great Barn Farm. From the delicious carrot cake left for us on arrival, the stylish rooms, comfy beds, huge shower and a deep bath, roaring fires and a pool to rival the best Spas. Plus some of Norfolk’s most breathtaking beaches are just 20 minutes drive. Ideal for a week with kids who will love splashing in the pool or a luxury getaway with friends. We couldn’t have loved our stay more and will be back as soon as we can get another booking.

What an incredible find! Myself, my wife and two children (8yrs & 3yrs) stayed in the Cattle Shed for a mid week break. We were supposed to stay with another family but because of Covid restrictions they had to cancel so we had this HUGE barn to ourselves. Having said that it would easily accommodate ten people without feeling you’re on top of one another. The space is surprisingly cosy for such a magnificent place. The concrete floors are heated and the vintage cool mixed with modern open plan living have a luxurious feeling. The kids had room to just... play. It was so relaxing even whilst they’re flying about expelling energy. The walled garden looks fantastic but is also very useable. There’s even a separate games room with a table tennis table and bar football. And to top that the swimming pool is an amazing bonus.

The Great Barn is well situated to get to the coast. Holkham Beach is a 40 min drive but we’ll worth it. One of my favourite beaches in England.

We’ll definitely be returning!

Beautifully appointed accommodation, carefully laid out to create a feeling of space and privacy. We loved the pool which was thoughtfully timetabled to give people the opportunity for shared swim time and a private session each day. We visited Wells, Cromer, Hunstanton and the Sandringham Estate. For food we'd highly recommend booking a table at Rocky Bottoms in West Runton and fish & chips from Eric's.
