The owner Nick welcomed us when we arrived and was very friendly and full of local knowledge. The house is amazing and the cellar is spacious, clean and equipped with all you could need. Situated just over a mile from the clifton suspension bridge and chic clifton Village you can walk with good pavements and cycle way. On your route is Bristols most beautiful park known as the downs with its country Manor and golf course as well as mountain bike trails and walks. We love our stay while visiting a festival and would highly recommend. Thanks Nick

Apartment is in a 14th century cellar, very quirky but probably not for somebody with Claustrophobia, friendly owner, would stay again

Amazing place to stay. Loved the historic nature of the cellars. Nice high ceilings, so no claustrophobia. Was one of the best nights sleep of our lives. Nick introduced us to the cellars, explained the history, gave us information about Bristol and the local area. Superb host. The cellars had everything you need, for a short stay to a long stay. Dishwasher, washing machine, coffee maker etc. We were concerned it may be cold, visiting in November, winter. But it was so cosy, even had extra heaters and blankets. Would definitely recommend.
