Incredibly clean and tidy place tastefully refurbished and furnished to my taste. Plenty of walks close by and close to the peak district for more fantastic walking. Plenty of pubs and farm shop cafes close.

If your looking for luxury and tranquility then look no further than this beauutiful cottage. The setting is perfect, the only noise you can hear are the birds singing oh and the occasional tractor. Cavendish Cottage is tucked away on a quiet country lane, 10 mins walk to the nearest pub, great food and dog friendly, a further 20 mins stroll to Ashbourne village, 3 very good pubs all dog friendly. The cottage has everything you could wish for, all the rooms have been finished off to a very high standard with top quality fittings. The cottage is dog friendly with great walks right on the doorstep. Cavendish Cottage is 5* plus, a real credit to it's owners Andy and Helen, will certainly visit again.

We spent a week here during August 2020 and had a great time. The owners were on site, they lived next door, and were very friendly but left us to get on with our own thing. The cottage was immaculate and very clean. The furnishings in all the rooms were of a high standard and the bathrooms and kitchen were well equipped. The cottage is tucked away off the main road with a quiet well sized garden to relax in with a beer after a day's exploring of the nearby countryside. There was a secure place to leave a bike which we made use of and so spent a couple of days riding some amazing, but hilly, roads. I'd definitely recommend it and if the chance arose we would go there again.

Absolutely beautiful property. The lovely owners have thought of everything for their guests' comfort. Very dog friendly! Lots of great walks in this scenic area. Would love to come back here.

Our 2nd visit. Beautiful cottage in a lovely area. Cottage is finished to a high standard and well equipped. Lots of books, walks, maps and games.
Cavendish Cottage is 5* plus, a real credit to it's owners Andy and Helen, will certainly visit again.
