January 2015: Here's a review, as posted on TripAdvisor: "We stayed for a week at this lovely holiday home for a family holiday, there were 9 of us and 2 dogs (kids and grandparents). Even though the house was very spacious and we were not on top of each other, there was a very cosy feel to the property, it was warm and welcoming. The kitchen/breakfast room/sun room was wonderful with the Aga adding to the warmth and a view to die for. Cooking on the Aga was an experience which we enjoyed very much, the kitchen was extremely well equipped plenty of quality pots pans and dishes etc. The garden was huge with far reaching views, the girls and dogs had a brilliant time and the table tennis in the garage kept many a tournament going! There was a wood burning stove in the lounge however we didn't use this as the Aga and the heating was enough for us. The location of the house was perfect, a 2 minute walk to the lovely beach and rock pools, perfect for exploring, the village of Newport a 10 minute stroll had everything you could wish for, pubs, a lovely butchers, convenience store and a few other little interesting shops to add to the quaintness of the place. the castle pub allowed dogs. This cottage is perfect for a relaxing holiday in a beautiful location, we hope to return sometime soon!"

Went for a week in september. My family and I loved it and have all said we would visit again! Such a lovely view, lovely sound of the sea, so relaxing shame the holiday came to an end. Great access to the beach, my nan had not long had an operation on her knee so walking up and down the hill to the beach was enough physio for her. Fantastic holiday home & was allowed to keep our cars there whilst we went for breakfast

Comfortable cottage with just such amazing view. We spent here for a week with family and this cottage is fully equipped. It was clean once we entered the house and it has also large yard which can be used to play with kids and dogs. The view of Newport beach that we can face directly from the house just increase the beauty. It is easy to access the beach from the house too by passing the small street til its end. Perfect choice to spend your holiday in this area.
