The Laundry Retreat

We had a lovely time here, it was so relaxing. The views from the roundhouses were fantastic and we enjoyed using the BBQ and firepit in the evenings. Jenny and Tom were very welcoming, the homemade bread, cake and fresh eggs were a special touch. One of the main reasons we came was to visit their garden which was absolutely stunning, we can't wait to come back and visit it at another time of year.

Jenny and Tom were very welcoming hosts. The roundhouse has everything you could need and was beautifully furnished. The gardens are absolutely gorgeous and the view from the deck is stunning. Lots of extra touches to make it feel special. Wonderfully relaxing yet plenty to see in the area. Thanks for a lovely break.

This stay was the absolute highlight of our entire trip to the UK. Jenny and Tom are the warmest and most thoughtful hosts- everything was beautiful and comfortable and delicious. If you're looking for golden light, birdsong, a secret garden, and excellent homemade and local treats, the Laundry Garden is paradise.

An absolutely stunning location, the Laundry Retreat is second to none. We enjoyed our stay so much that we booked for a return visit while we were still there! Fantastic hosts who could not do enough for us in one of THE most beautiful places we've ever stayed, cannot recommend enough.

Truly the most magical place we’ve ever stayed. If we could give it more than 5 stars we would.
We spent 3 nights in the Ilex roundhouse and within minutes of arriving we knew we wouldn’t want to leave. Everything about our stay was wonderful! Fresh produce and home baked goods on arrival and absolutely spotless accommodation with everything that we needed. The decor is spot on. It also had a wonderful private outside area to enjoy with a stunning view across the Welsh countryside, it was an absolute retreat from our busy lives. Being able to meander through The Laundry Garden was such a treat and we got some lovely ideas from Jenny for our own garden design. We so enjoyed our evenings spent outside by the fire - all the necessities kindly provided for us.
Tom and Jenny could not have done more to make us feel at home and truly made us feel so welcome and cared for.

With a stunning garden to roam and peaceful views that lie beyond… this retreat makes for the perfect getaway. Tom and Jenny were very hospitable and friendly people and made us feel really welcome. Breakfast was amazing too, I suggest you try it! Fabulous Thankyou!

We enjoyed a fabulous weekend at The Laundry Retreat, such an amazing location, with the most stunning views. The roundhouse is beautiful, cosy and well-designed with all the essentials needed for a romantic weekend away. It was lovely to meet Jenny and Tom and have a wander around their beautiful garden. They were very generous with their time and gave us lots of info for our upcoming roundhouse project as well!

Faultless. Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated roundhouse with absolutely stunning views. From the moment we completed our booking, the level of communication from Tom & Jenny was the best we have ever experienced from any self-catering property we’ve ever used. We would not hesitate to recommend a stay at The Laundry Retreat to anyone. Tom & Jenny clearly work very hard to maintain the very high standards of their business, & they are lovely people too, which makes supporting them easy!
