Holiday in our Campervan . Great location to access the trail. Steep hill but once down flat which is ideal for me . The dog loved it to . We did not take our bikes but ideal if you do have them . Toilets and showers very clean and accessible. Good pitch , flat. Met up with family who were staying in the cottages. They looked good as well .

What an absolute gem of a campsite! You can tell that John and Sarah run this place with love - they have thought about every detail, from the "honesty freezer" with ice cream to the hidden picnic spots, lit by fairy lights, and the compost toilet with a view (and a beautiful living roof!). The facilities were immaculate and the new showers in the woods were the best I have ever experienced on a campsite - hot, powerful, plenty of place to put your stuff. I camped on the lower estuary field (tents only) which was blissfully quiet and just a hop, skip and a jump down to the estuary where you can sit and eat dinner in the evening. Communication with John when booking was excellent - he gave me great tips on route choice as I was arriving by bike (including a fab recommendation for a cafe stop) making me feel welcome before I even arrived. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at Graig Wen again.

A great campsite with lovely owners. Nice and quiet with a great shop and some spectacular views. Showers and toilets are very well positioned. One thing I'd recommend is to make sure you have rock tent pegs and a lump hammer as where we camped, there was slate underneath and we had to go and buy some from the owners to get the pegs in.

Stayed 4 nights in the bell tent - 2 adults, 2 kids and a dog. Incredibly beautiful and remote location (definitely organise a lift with your stuff down the hill!). Easy start to lots of walks direct from the campsite . Amazing guidebook provided on booking with all the info you could need. And the loveliest campsite shower I have ever been in!

Just returned from a week at Graig Wen. Such a beautiful site, I would go to say the best site we have stayed at. Nothing needs to be changed, as it was all perfect, whether you are camping, staying in the huts or yurts or like us a motor home. Beautiful views. So much love and thought has gone into this site and the owners are lovely. Highly recommend. We will definitely return.
Thank you John and Sara

Such a wonderful location. Quiet, great access to beautiful local places. We loved our stay in small Duchess. It was perfect for my son and I to have a walking weekend. The facilities were absolutely spotless. Would definitely return!

Gorgeous site - the views are incredible and it's so peaceful. Definitely fits the definition of nearly-wild camping. You can have a camp fire in your own fire pit, if you pre-book logs. There were decent toilet and shower facilities too, for an almost-wild but not too wild experience. We were blown away by the beautiful location and how quiet it was.

Great little campsite in a lovely location with stunning views. Convenient facilities and good hot showers, nice walks nearby. Owners really friendly and helpful - Sarah really went out of her way to help us out which was hugely appreciated! Will definitely be recommending to others and would love to come back.
