APARTMENTS WALES

Having spent nearly 18 months in nearby St. Athan, Barry was a close comfort for my everyday needs. It also holds a special space as it was where I spent a lot of time with my girlfriend (now fiancée). Barry always has and always will be a place of fond memories: the beach, the walks, Barry Island, the amusements, and more to the point - Apartment Wales, Barry.

We’ve stayed at this great spot on several occasions staying in all but one of their apartments. Our favourite is the downstairs apartment. It’s just the right size for a couple, or lone wolf, looking to secure a reasonably priced, clean, well equipped apartment to cater to their needs. It has everything you need from dining area, lounge, big tv, wood burning fire (additional extra), comfortable double bed, ceiling fan, decent shower, and a kitchen for cooking small meals. We even got a small bottle of red wine on our last stay :)

The booking with Keith is always a breeze and Tracey is always there to greet us with the keys and few forms to fill in. Takes 5 minutes and the rest of the time is yours to enjoy. There is a One Stop down the road for wine and dessert, all the culinary delights of Barry down the road, and for those of you who enjoy Gavin and Stacey - Trinity Street is merely a stones throw away.

FYI I don’t have shares in Apartment Wales :) it just holds some great memories and I can’t rate it highly enough. Barry: a place I’m likely to return to in the future and I’ve no doubt as to where I’ll stay. Hope your time in Barry is as good as mine. Ours... :))

Keith was a great host who personally welcomes us to the apartment and gave us an extensive tour of the property and let us know about the area.
The property was clean and tidy and was equipped with everything needed for a short or long term stay. Everything from the fresh milk to the tea and coffee left had been meticulously thought about.
We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a stay in and around the area.

Booked this through booking.com, biggest mistake ever, booking have been awful recently, the bookings never live up to the reviews on line, but this takes the biscuit. I booked this apartment and on the page before booking it said sleeps up to 5, so I went ahead and booked. I then received an unsolicited contact from the owner, a Mr Spence, he then proceeded to inform me that although I had booked an apartment that sleeps 5 I had only booked for 2, this seemed reasonable until I checked other dates and this is not the case, changing the number of occupants makes no difference to the price. Rip off merchant, booking were not interested, completely useless and unhelpful

Great stay, perfect location and only 2 blocks to catch the train.
Bus stop less than a minute away, There was free parking right outside the door. This place really was a home away from home 10/10 from us!

We had a perfect stay, everything was wonderful, we are now on our 4th Visit and having stayed
at most places here in Barry we are constantly drawn back to ApartmentsWales for their attention to detail.
