Llanfair Hall

Had an absolutely lovely stay this weekend at Llanfair Hall. The pod we stayed in was comfortable and warm, perfect for myself and my partner. AJ and her son were on hand to help answer any questions for us and provide us with some kindling for the pizza oven which was great. Genuinely one of the most gorgeous and relaxing stays we have had and a perfect base to enjoy the island - a very reasonable price for such a lovely experience as well. Hopefully we will be back in the future <3

We were made extremely welcome on our arrival by the site manager. A great location for our glamping tent. Things will only improve once planning has been granted for the location of the tents and associated services.

Stayed for 3 nights. Had to request clean bedding first night (stained and no cover on the thin duvet spread). I had to wipe down the kitchen as greasy in microwave and some plates dirty. Thick with dust in one part (nothing a quick sweep wouldn't have sorted). Not expected for what is advertised as 5 star glamping. Bedding was not 'sumptious' as advertised. View was not as per web pics - we had portaloos in front of our view. The awards predate this season. Many of the reviews are old too . Change of owner? New owner excused the cleaning as being end of season and the fact of glamping meaning it would be naturally prone to being dusty. That's unacceptable. We paid more for a cabin, this wasn't an open tent. A cabin is something that can be cleaned well. We have stayed other glamping sites before (safari tents, yurts and pods) and never had this experience . We nearly left first night but person on site AJ was friendly and did change bedding and put us up in a nearby unit as extra bed (appreciated but this was musty smelling when we went in it). (New) Owner did say sorry on email and said they'd send a little something to us to make up for it on first night. Still waiting. The website sells it well but for us it didn't match reality at all. Site ok but tired. I note others have enjoyed their experience so perhaps ours was a one off or perhaps it is good if the point of comparison is basic camping however if looking to glamp we have seen and experienced much better and cleaner places around for same or less money I'm sorry to say. The pods did look ok and from pictures look clean but then again so did the cabin. We won't be returning. Shame as there is the most beautiful beach nearby.

Our second stay here, stayed in a glamping pod and this time in the wood cabin. Loved both stays, clean, warm, dog friendly, perfect location for a stay in Anglesey. The addition of the hot tubs is fab, we loved sitting in it whilst it rained or star gazing at night! Pizza oven a hit and marshmallows over the fire pit. A little haven in this hectic world

Pod was gorgeous. So clean - everything we needed. Cooked pizza in the pizza oven on the first night. So warm and cosy - hot tub was very luxurious, got really hot after a couple of hours even in the freezing cold. Angharad was fab! So helpful and friendly, after speaking to her on our way to the pub we started planning our return visit with partners and dogs. Thanks so much for a brilliant girls weekend 🥰

Amazing little hidden gem. Stayed in the shepherd hut with a wood fired hot tub. Had a wonderful stay, the facilities are great and it was lovely and warm. The people we spoke to were really friendly and accommodating and helped with recommendations for places to visit.

Damp and mould, not clean, none there to welcome. Hot tub was freezing upon arrival despite it saying otherwise. Arrived home far from relaxed and sick. Numbers for owners are provided on arrival if any issues, they don’t respond tho

What a fantastic stay Glamping at Llanfair Hall. A group of 4 of us stayed in one of the Pods which had underfloor heating and a hot tub on a cold icy December weekend. The Pod was clean, super warm and cosy and perfect for the occasion. Angharad, the Site Manager, provided exceptional service and was so welcoming and friendly with us. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable during our stay and even called ahead of our booking just to reassure us about a few things given that it was very cold and icy - we really appreciated this. We used the Pizza oven one night which was a success and all the facilities were excellent. Correspondence was brilliant prior to our visit too - Thank you to Marcus for this! We've already booked again for July 2023 and can't wait to visit the site in the summer!
