Hendre House Cottages

We have stayed in Hendre House every year for the last 4 years and we missed our half term stay this year as we didn't get our booking in quick enough but luckily managed to stay for Easter. This is such an excellent place with really friendly owners Michelle and Andy who provide everything for you and are there if you need them anytime but never over crowd you . The cottages are lovely and clean with everything you need for a 5 * stay and there are lovely facilities in the grounds. The swimming pool is a brilliant addition and even better with the use of the hot tub after a long walk on the beach. Dogs are made very welcome too and ours always enjoys his lovely stay here. The welcome package on arrival including the Welsh cakes is lovely.
We will be returning next year hopefully as it is a great place for a lovely rewind and recharge .

Along with friends and our dogs we have just spent a most enjoyable week at this amazing holiday venue. The accommodation is perfect; it has everything you could possibly need and is spotlessly clean and comfortable. The barbecue cabin is excellent and the heated indoor pool and hot tub fantastic. The owners are on hand if you need them. They also kindly provided a very pretty, colourful, contemporary flower arrangement, fresh, locally bottled milk and tasty Welsh cakes.

The beautiful Pembrokeshire coast and countryside are easily accessible for great dog walks with dog friendly pubs and cafes. St David’s is close with its cathedral, Thursday market and interesting shops.

We had a wonderful holiday in Hendre Cottage with our teenage grandchildren. The extra indoor and outdoor facilities distinguish these cottages from the normal holiday lets and Michelle and Andy were on site to welcome us and offer any help or advice. The girls used the pool at least once a day and there is so much to do in this lovely part of Pembroke that a second visit is definitely required to fit more in. We would recommend Picton Castle and for fabulous real ice cream Pointz Castle Ice Cream.

Superb in every way! Spotlessly clean, well equipped with some lovely personal touches such as the fresh flowers, tea, coffee, fresh milk and Welsh cakes on arrival. It's not often that everything is as advertised and promoted and as seen in the photographs, but our cottage and the venue itself certainly was. An excellent mix of modern and traditional, from the wi fi to the log fire ( smokeless! but with all the evocative log fire aroma)
The pool and spa are again exceptionally clean, indoors and warm! The spa is ultra modern, one of the best we've been in. Our dogs loved the place, with space to limber up on site before tackling the beaches and Woodlands. The information pack is brilliant, everything from pubs to how to light the fire.
The owners live on site but are not intrusive, yet there if you need help or information. We unreservedly recommend this lovely 3 cottage site.

What a great Christmas spent at Hendre House with all of my family. A bottle of prosecco, chocolates and homemade Welsh Cakes were left in both cottages along with a visit from Michelle with her children on Christmas Eve with homemade mince pies which my dad & Son said were one of the nicest mince pies they have had. The cottages were spotless and had everything needed to cook a big Christmas dinner. The pool/hot tub area was immaculate and loved by children and grandchildren alike.... all in all, a great place to stay with some lovely places to visit nearby.... would definitely recommend.

We stayed in the 2 bed Winterton cottage this summer and it was wonderful for our family (2 adults, 2 children of 9 and 5 who shared the bunk beds) The owners appear to have thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible and so that you don't have to remember everything but the kitchen sink to bring from home. There is even a proper rotary dryer with pegs for washing if you're like me and don't want to save it all up for the return home. But the real winner that sets the cottages on site apart from other holiday rentals is the indoor pool and hot tub in a separate block. This is just a few steps away from whichever cottage you choose and is the most amazing bonus regardless of what you've done during the day or whatever the weather. There is no booking system but between us and the other 2 cottages, we used it every day for a very decent 90 min slot (which is plenty of time to have fun) and taking turns was never an issue between us. Location wise, it's a perfect base to discover the beautiful beaches in the area such as Whitesands, the fishing village at Solva, St Davids city... All in all, we would be delighted to return one day!

Absolutely fantastic place to stay! Me & the kids (& dogs) had our first post lockdown break here and it couldn't have been better. The cottage was spotless and clean and had everything you needed. It was brilliant to have the pool & hot tub on site aswell, which was very much made use of!! Loved the environmentally friendly approach and the local milk dispenser. All in all would highly recommend and we look forward to returning ourselves. Thank you for a fabulous break!!

What a little gem. We absolutely loved our stay and are sad to leave. The quality of accommodation is extremely high and the facilities help to keep the kids entertained and makes it a holiday for you. We have our return trip planned already. I can't recommend this place enough although I kind of want to keep it a secret so I can come back when I want to!
