Fantastic apartment, with, as the name suggests, stunning views from the balcony. The rooms are large and well furnished with an en suite for our room. Very clean, free car park, off season that is, and great location. It's a great base to explore the lovely surrounding area.

Really lovely holiday let. perfect place with great view of the beach. Fall asleep to the sound of waves on pebbles. The cottage just needed a clean to get 5 stars.

Pro's - The view & size of rooms. Living room was comfortable, nice decor. The location and variety of things todo in the area
Con's - Property didn't have double glazing and the apartment faces a VERY busy road . Scaffolding currently on-side of the property that was left unsecured and made it vulnerable to intruders via bedroom window in apartment number 4 (which has no lock), making it unsafe. Also was not notified of any work being carried out on the building prior to booking. Loose curtain rail above balcony door and damaged tiling & hand rails on the balcony, very dangerous. The apartment was on the middle floor and we had a family staying above us and to the left; apartments are NOT soundproof and we were kept awake until 3am by screaming kids who were banging doors and then being smacked by their parents. No toaster in kitchen. Oven, grill & spa bath didn't work so wasted lots of food that we brought with us and had to buy take away. We booked an apartment as opposed to a hotel for self catering facilities, so this was particularly frustrating. Property very dusty ( from the work being done we're guessing). Steve ( our host) was elusive to say the very least, didn't hear from him again once we had transferred the money to him, only a text to say keys were left in apartment 4 and door unlocked. He wasn't there to greet us, or check us out. We had to pop back to grab an item that we had left in the apartment, which took LOTS of phone calls as Steve doesn't like to answer the phone either clearly. Very dodgy set up and would NOT recommend as just not worth the money paid.

Good but was told there would be a view in every room! So I painted outside murals in every closet.

Beautiful views right across to France on a clear day! The beach is mostly clean quiet family friendly and just a pebble throw away from the shops. Great place to visit!

Kayak fishing 🎣🎣🎣 off of sandgate. Beautiful Sea views free parking and a free dinner absolutely marvelous life don't get better👍
